Someone remarked that Joan was in love with bob dylan at this time. i have just tonight watched a documentary on joan...(thus came to hear more of her music) and it appeared that at this time they had just come together to share a musical tour, quite some time after the break up of their love affair...but of course there is always LOVE, so quixotic and hard to explain...I live with one ex, and the other is over for weekends.

for me, and after realising it it made total sence really, music is made stronger when linked with emotional content ( as bruce lee put it) put music in an emotional context, but in this case the film and music repected and complimented each other.

it reflects to me a less aggressive time, if it were made today the music and film would baeutifully fight each other for dominance.

This song is called "Silent Running" from the movie Silent Running. The other song in that movie is called Rejoice in the sun. They play that one at the end when they roll the credits. I know because I wrote the lyrics.
