I LIVE IN THA ABC(AKA ALBERTA CITY) BUT WE WERE HIT VERY HARD AND SO WAS HOLT THEY SAYD THOSE 38 DEATHS CAME FROM WHERE I LIVE!! ITS SO DEVASTATING TO SEE MII CITY OF T-TOWN LIKE DHET!! GOD BLESS TUSCALOOSA ND KEEP US IN Y'ALL PRAYERS!!

in greeneville, where we had 6 deaths and massive destruction as well, the sherriffs dept is doing a GREAT job of keeping the gawkers out of the ravaged area...even 4 days later....im surprised ttown isnt doing the same...all that congestion of traffic makes it really hard on the releif efforts.

@BigVOLdaddy They have. The roads affected were major roadways through the city, so they cleared them very quick and opened them up so traffic can move through the city. The side roads and such are closed and no one is allowed through. We have a curfew and armed Guardsmen enforcing it. The law enforcement here is doing a fantastic job.

Man glad your ok Joe!!! I live in moody and the storm that came through that morning did some bad damage we are still without power they been saying 1 more week before it's back on now.. But the hit we took was nowhere near what t-town got .. I have my iPhone and that is the only way to keep up with YouTube and news coming in ..I hope I never have another birthday like I had wed it was madness I tell you!!!!

Quite the mess. The upsetting thing about natural disasters is the completely arbitrariness. Unlike many human caused disasters natural occur without regard to humans. If you are interested you may be able to find some "Google street view" before shots using Google Earth.

@happyjesus123 You are so right. Just no sense to it at all. And I have seen the before and afters using Google Earth...just unreal. And this quick little video I made while driving does not even do a good job showing the total destruction here. It is so bad. Just so terribly bad.
