Jon sounds just amazing and love his improvisation here. What a beautiful tone this has. There are photos of Jon with Hotz Box Inventor Jimmy Hotz on Jimmy's official website from this NAMM show & promo photos as well. Gorgeous, dreamy magical sound.
I can remember when I laughed this hard, but it was 20 years ago and involved an antique bellows-driven calliope at the foot of the Eiffel Tower that was playing "C'est Bon Pour Le Moral" and was running out of gas during my extended hangover.
Dearest Gods I love Jon Anderson. Love him, love him, I will die loving him and never be ashamed of it.
o my gosh, the man is overwhelmingly adorable, LOL :D he don't play guitar, he don't play keyboard--he can sing a bit, HE CAN SING A BIT :D LOL, his improvs are so cute and PERFECT. the man outpours creativity itself.
Atari, huh? gotta get me one of those. it's like the modern-day soft-touch laptop keyboards. this is so great. THANK YOU FOR POSTING
I'm still searching for the rare Anderson, Harley and Batt performance at Battersea Park in London performing Whatever you believe from Telethon 1988 charity show originally shown on ITV in UK. There was a last 2minute section from it on youtube back last year but has now been taken off. I would also like to see the video to Spirit of the forest which involved Jon and other music artistes. A 30min documentary was shown of this help the forest senario back in 1989 on BBc2.
Thank you for posting this video!!! I was also there video taping this event, but the tapes are unavailable at the moment. You can't see him in the video but Paul Haslinger from Tangerine Dream was playing as well as the highly acclaimed sound effects artist Scott Gershin. This was all performed in the Atari booth at the Winter NAMM convention. A photograph of the whole group can be viewed on Jimmy Hotz's
