i'm basically gunna use mine for msn,internet, mail, you know the basics, my friend has the ibook g4 and he uses a progrm called adium instead of windows live messneger.I personally think its alot better then windows live, and there is so many features that are actually useful compared to windows live. The wireless is incredible.I mean he can move anywhere in his house or even go outside and still have very fast internet.
Is a mac really that much better than a pc, i no you cant get viruses and stuff; it just doesnt seem like you can do that much on a mac..please help me in deciding if i want a mac...it will be my first laptop...and if spend $1,200 on a mac i dont really want to be disapointed.
If you think is seems like you cant do much on a mac, then I'd say dont buy one. wait and get a vista laptop... with that said, I only owe macs and love them.

get a mac u won't be dissapointed. If u still want windows u can install windows xp sp2 and u wont miss a beat.
