wow. brings back crazy memories of the storm. Feels like yesterday--the music too. i remember watching the weather channel nonstop sitting in my apartment 40 floors up on 50th and 8th ave in nyc. i walked out to pick up a pizza in times square and had to walk backwards across 50th to famiglias pizza. Snow blew into my back pockets and when i took my wallet out their was snow in it. The guy in the pizza place laughed. Wheni walked out there were snowmobiles going down broadway

I've been living near washington DC for the last 19 years. We already had 1 foot of snow on the ground at 11:45am on Jan.7,1996. I guess JFK airport was getting theirs later.
