    Slan.

  • Many thanks Mick for that information, I'll be eagerly awaiting the release of the album as Ive only really heard him sing a couple of songs here on youtube but he does have a great voice there's no doubt about it and the Bold Grenadier has become 1 of my all time favourite songs eversince I heard him singing it !! thanks again !

  • Al came to one of our blues/bluegrass gigs in Greystones last night and he gave me a copy of the new album. I listened to it on the way home in the car. Man, it's just superb. It's a 2 CD collection; CD 1 being studio recordings and CD 2 him live at The Cobblestone. It's beautifully produced with a glossy cover and a booklet. It'll be available on iTunes in early December but if you want the real thing and can't get it, let us know and we'll organise it for you.

  • Do you have a version of Al singing the Night Visiting Song?

  • No, though it would be nice to here him singing it. The only other song i have Al singing is Spanish Lady.

  • Heard him singing it as a tribute to Luke Kelly on Ceili House in 2004. He did a good job.
