Yes, it kind of is. It's harder to remake it into English due to the mouths moving and finding the right words within the time. Besides, just because there's a Japanese version doesn't mean that an English one will be made at the same time. I realize that this was posted a month ago, but it just disturbs me.

actually Golden sun is totally different series then this.

the first Tales game as Phantasia, the Tales of series has been around far longer then the Golden Sun Series. I wish Camelot would just stop procrastinating and create the 3rd installment.

The story is fairly similar (ok every JRPG has a similar story) and from what I've seen of the puzzles they look quite similar too. And yeah, the wait has been far too long. It's time they stopped saying "we just don't wanna screw it up" and got on with it. They could have been spending all these years making sure it was a worthy sequel with a long development cycle instead of shying away from the series' legacy.

it depends on the choices you make during the journey. *spoiler- sorta* in the second game, if you're nicer to colette than, say, sheena, lloyd'll end up with sheena, but if you're nicer to colette he'll end up with her.

Playing the game and watching the anime at the part where Colette "died" allegedly, I actually felt kinda sad, and both times, I knew she was gonna be fine. That's one sign of a great anime.

Actually, not quite. Winning against Kratos is optional, but it's meant to be challenging. Yggdrassil is the one who's impossible. I think hichez50 meant to say Mithos when he was talking about Remiel. :P
