I'm not sure why, but knocking four times... I always got the idea of, like, whatever "he" killing four of the doctor's friends... But who knows! That's just my impression. Oh, it looks so sad... When he looked into the vortex, he saw something that terrified him so, that his hearts started to beat in the rhythm he calls "the drums". When he left the Vortex, the drumming would stop. He was told that his song was ending with Donna and the Ood, so there could be more ood. It is returning so it is probably something that we have had with donna or martha. The dark could mean it will be the vash nerada things. But I think the music is the same as in midnight and they always use the same music for the same monsters so I am certain of the return to midnight and the unamed creature.
