i read that it is possible to make it street legal in germany, but not very easy and its expencive! i think its bedder to buy a ktm exc, because they are all street legal, some supermoto rims and go :D

What makes you think that? You can buy a WR450F in road legal form.

Look on eBay - there are plenty of road legal SM bikes.

And it would be perfectly legal in Germany - my stepdad is German and has had similar bikes on the road.

If an R1 (which has over 130bhp at the rear wheel and a top speed of over 180mph) can be road legal then why not one of these?

Environmental pollution? This bike is more economical and less polluting than a superbike.

There are still plenty of 2-strokes on German roads (I have seen many), and they are more polluting than any 4-stroke.

because of the pollution you need to reduce the hp sometimes.

for example the bmw g 450 x got 50 hp in the enduro version and just about 40 in the street legal class 3 version

i say it again, german rules are sick and to much!

Do the wr-450 go faster then a KTM 530? I talked to a KTM machanic from USA and he said that the Honda crf 450 was faster then a KTM 530 in a drag race!! :P

@MrTwowheels1 well, seeing as how the 450s are in a specific racing motorcap class, those motors probably have more in them, and more stress on them. all 450s range in the 50-60hp range. xr650 has about the same power as a yz250f, but, if you put the same(scaled up) compression, valve duration, valve timing, valve material, bore x stroke ratio, every little detail, clutch grab, and attention to exhaust you would have a big ass beast on your hands, not some commuter "oh hey heres a trail" bike

change gear when ur doing a wheelie!!! u will fuk ur bike up with ur rpm's that high just never use ur clucth when ur front wheel is up change gear without the clutch

btw. u still mess up the bike by shifting without clutch. it messes up the shifting forks and sides of the gear sprocket. happened to my yamaha.
