OK, FAGS, listen...there's no secret to this. It's not an unknown, coveted glitch that can help you win online. I just posted this to show how fucking terrible the game AI is. If you're playing against the CPU and you repeatedly fake snap, they repeatedly jump offsides. It's that simple. Stop PM'ing me and asking me how to do it.

You cant do it.... kind of. He basically uses fake hike, but the guy in the video isn't being altogether truthful when using it.

Usually cpu's won't succumb so easiely to encroachment, but since it's so close to the endzone, they're more inclined to. They're less inclined in the bottom of the field and when it's in the first quarter.

Of course if I'm wrong I challenge the video author to prove it =).

For instance, in Madden '92 I could manually blitz Seth Joyner all day on anyone and get the sack 99.9% of the time. The only fix is to limit the number of fake hikes per play, turn off encroachment for online play, or readjust the awareness/encroachment scale and ratio.

I've got a theory on this...it doesn't make it any less of a glitch, BUT - I think that the least AWARE defensive lineman will jump offsides a certain percentage of fake snaps. SO, if you play against the Chargers, Shawn Merriman, being the least AWR on the D line will jump maybe 1 out of every 8 times you fake the snap. Thus, if you have enough time on the play clock to fake snap 20 times, you're guaranteed an encroachment.
