if you had a small electric magnet that would fit into the lock and had something that could sweep energy amounts and used a tention wrench it might work but I could be wrong

its an hpc tubular guide, i got it as part of a tubular lock pick training set from the foley-belsaw catalog. by the way, lock picking for the new millenium is a must see. its a great video, i just got it

I managed to open one of these using an AC demagnitiser coil in just a few seconds.Maybe lucky, and the key didn't work afterwards - lol

Ah close but still a genius method. I've never seen a lock with a straight out magnetic key. I only do minor picking with the average tumbler lock.
