its good to know how to zoning with sagat. honestly, its pretty hard to do green hand to hit sagat' fireball. and also, if sagat does ex tiger shot after we do FADC, we might get hit. But stil that option is one of the best one so far:) Instead of using c.MK or s.HK to keep closed with sagat. Thx anyway for the videos...

To punish blanka ultra with my ultra I use jab green hand, almost the same as the crouch medium but it gives a little super bar xD

@hedsjot Not really. Gief is good, but he has some awful counter matches. Most of the EX360 usage in this video is impractical, especially the ultras and the end. it makes much more sense to block and 720 or combo.

Spamming 360's will get you killed. 90% of players are trying to avoid/punish the throw.

most of the stuff in the video shows how to get out of other people throwing random unsafe moves and what the most damaging punish is. all those moves still work so long as you use them smart (ie COMBO into them as opposed to throwing them out randomly) i mean if it were as easy as spamming 360, wouldnt gief win every tourniment? i love how people think gief is easy to use, yea maybe you can wreck your little sister with him, but at a high level hes very tough to play and win with

there are good zangs out there, and i resect a good gief player. unfortunatly there are so much donkey out there, who just spam the 360 and, i still believe it is, you get rigged out of moves, cause it has such a big range.

@Seventy2NodNarB Most of the punishes detailed in this video were against moves that aren't so obvious to punish. DP->FADC by sagat and ryu were once thought safe.

Chun's stupid overhead used to be godlike against Z, and I see people fail to punish SBK.

Blanka up and horiz ball were thought to be safe. Blanka's ultra is a special case, since it's his only good wakeup, it's so fast and does so much chip, it's really good to know what to do.

The EX SPDs through random ultras are just for yuks.

yea i totally agree with you its a good video with good stuff in it, sorry if i came across as sounding like the stuff in it was all common knowldge to all gief players. i had never seen or thought of fadc'ing after crushing a FB, although my forward dashes always seem to just get punished hard it was still cool. i was just trying to shoot down the notion that all we giefers do is spam 360 all day long and magically win. that kinda ignorance bugs me
