As refs DOSBox, any 'novices' probably want to get DFend, makes the whole thing massively less painful to set up.

@LtDanw The latest version of "DOSBox" can run it on a fast PC.

@te2rx is it complicated to set it up? which OS do you use? does it matter?

@LtDanw DOSBox is an emulator of old DOS PCs, available for many platforms. Just install it, create & mount a folder containing the Terra Nova CD data (in a subfolder), and then install the game, play. It should "just work" like it did for me.
