It's not random. You just have to hit the spaceship aboout 5 times.

oh wow that's painful.. There were a ton of really bad N64 games, and this was no exception. I could've sworn we got this in our Gamestop (since people trade/return them all the time).

yea i got this game, the Australian n64 magazines gave it good raitings, i dont know what they were smoking, i got the game and hated it.
