Maybe you haven't been watching ESPN for very long, but they're very clear about their dislike for UGA and the SEC in general. They spent the week before that game talking about how UGA shouldn't think so lightly of CMU, and then the week after talking about how easy they were to beat. Look outside your precious Southland for once, Dawg fan. Here in flyover country, Texas is about to play their FOURTH consecuitive Top 11 team. If they get by Taco Tech and then beat Misery in our CCG, they more than deserve to be on the field with your precious $EC in Miami.
When all is said and done, Texas will have played at least four and probably five top 25 teams (two in one year), and OU, OSU and Tech will have played four ranked teams each.

What an idiot. First of all, why would we be ashamed? It was an awesome play no matter who we're playing. If you don't think so, get your fat ass off the couch and do it. Second of all, how dare he talk about us "padding" our schedule when over-ranked teams like USC don't pay anyone besides Ohio State (also over-ranked). We have one of (if not the) toughest schedules in the country so I think we're entitled to a couple of easy ones to start the season.

Im not saying that it needed number one, but maybe and 8 or 9 woulda been cool. Richt is such a calm class guy. He is pushin our heisman candidate to the spotlight. Its kinda his job in one sense. Class- letting your in state smaller school rival score some points. We fell from 1 b/c us of that. Runin up the score is a fad these days i see. when we handle sc all talk will cease. Staffords better. knowshons better. SCs d not as good and without steady qb. 28-7 UGA.

Weird... I thought that when ESPN shelled out over $2b in a contract with the SEC, SEC fans would get over themselves and their inferiority complexes. Oh well.
And by the way, jumping over a defender isn't unique, it happens fairly often. Check out the Mizzou tight end (tight end, not tailback) who made a much better play than Moreno a couple of weeks ago.

Ohio is in the MAC, and as I recall they gave Ohio State a run for their money. All I am saying is they are not a padding. If we wanted to do that we could have picked a Div 2 or 3 School.

Teams from Division I FBS (like Georgia) never schedule Division II or III teams. In fact I'm pretty sure it's impossible to do. Man you are a bona fide retard. UGA may want its piece of toilet paper degree back...that is if you even went to school there.

Do you go to Georgia Tech? I hate to break it to you, but Georgia is a good school. Tech is a higher ranked public school, but UGA is up there, too. It just depends on what type of degree you want. GT is good for engineering, but even a business degree from UGA would look better than one from Tech.

ESPN has never given the SEC any love. They are too busy giving it to the Pac 10 and the Big 10. Richt did the right thing in my opinion. He called out a sports station for not doing a good job. You know that if Jim Tressel or Pete Carol had done the same thing, ESPN would be begging for forgiveness. They always push their team and heisman canidates and never get blasted. Hey new flash ESPN, CMU = MAC Champion.
