  • So do these have any problems fitting on a stock height mustang?

  • @imboredadr

They should fit even better on a stock height Mustang since you wont have to worry about any rubbing most likely.

  • @wasisnt

Good, as of right now I'm stock height but plan to get it lowered some depending on how it's stance is after I replace the 16's with 18's

  • yeah, my cars lowered so I'll watch out for that. I have almost the same wheels on it now, just in hypercoated. They're pretty old though and the finish is coming apart. I have stiffer shocks on it, but I may look into getting the fenders rolled. Anyways, thanks so much man and happy cruisin

  • did you order em from cruizin concepts? im thinking about getting em for my car, but i dont want to get em if they chip real bad and the customer service blows

  • @kawimx919

Yeah I got them from Cruzin Concepts. Ive had them for about 3 years and I would say there are maybe 4 little spots where they are peeling but its only on the back. The fronts are perfect. It could it was a bad batch or maybe its the abuse of the Washington rain. Ive also read where other people have had similar problems with back chrome on different wheels so maybe its a black chrome thing.

  • @wasisnt gotcha. Did you run em during the winter? and I may just order from american muscle because their customer service seems to be way better. Best looking wheel though imo. Great looking car man

  • @kawimx919

They saw plenty of rain. I try not to as much now that I have another car. If you get them from somewhere else check the offset compared to Cruzin Concepts. Mine stick out a tad too much and rub the inner fender on the drivers side when making a right turn going up a driveway. I got stiffer shocks which helped a lot but not 100%. If your car is not lowered it should be fine. Mine is dropped 1.5 inches. The brand CC sells are called Wheel Replicas.

  • @SVTMODDED cool. I guess i'll stick with the stock look for now. Believe it or not my 03 cobra still stock (besides clutch, illegal tint)...which is very unusual for a 03-04 cobra since there known for high horsepower gains with aftermarket parts. Would like to do more, but what can i say I'M BROKE!!! ha.

  • @SVTMODDED there not horrible looking, just wouldnt be my first choice...everybody has a preference. Still got the stock chrome SVT rims on my 03 cobra....there not bad, but would prefer black deep dish rim...similar to the Bullitt rim

  • thats bull$h!t man. those things should NOT peel and you should NOT have to spray clear on your wheels. i just ordered these in chrome for my 2010. love the black chrome look, but did not want to risk the finish problems.

    they are very sharp wheels.

  • @ryleuty

Did you get them from Cruzin Concepts? I noticed today as I was detailing my car that they are pitting a little too. It only does it on the rears on the flat part of the "deep dish" section. The fronts are fine and the spokes are fine all the way around.

I live in WA so I was also wondering if they get more abuse with all the rain and crap splashing up on them.

  • @wasisnt

I worked with my local discount tire. they matched the combo price on cruizin concepts and got me the nitto invos i wanted instead of N555s. they were ordered directly from the manufacturer, so not sure where exactly.

first set was the wrong offset and they stuck out too far!!! reordered with correct offset for my body style and expect delivery friday.

  • @ryleuty

My offset is pushing it on sticking out too far. I had to get stiffer shocks in the back because if I would make a right turn up a driveway the outside of the rear fender well would dig into the tire. Its pretty good now with the Bilstein HD shocks.

  • the thing i dont like about the black chrome, is that they just look like reallllly dirty chrome wheels...

  • looks great. Nice job

  • thanks for posting. car looks great

  • looks means!! just watch out with the black chrome after a while it will start chipping off thats what happen to mine... btw what size are the rear tires?? thanks

  • @madugui

They are already starting to peel in a couple of places. I tried to contact the place I got them from but I couldn't get through by phone and they wouldn't reply to my emails. The tires are 295/35/18

  • good luck,,, what i ended up doing was gettin sum fine sandpaper n sanded the chrome off . they ended up looking like a flat black..

  • @madugui

What I did was mask off the section that was peeling and spray it with some clear to keep it from spreading. So far its holding up.

  • i'm just not sure if i like those rims, they just look like have to many spokes--kind of like an import rim

  • @cbra66

They were designed by Ford you know.

  • i got a yellow 01 gt with the black chrome but mine are deep dish i want to get the front chin next nice car

  • Great looking car man I have the same color on my Stang! Where did you get your Chin Spoiler from? Btw what kind of shocks/struts are you running with your Eibach's? Thanks for the help in advance.

  • @Blue03GT

Its been awhile since I put the chin spoiler but you can get them at the Ford dealer or just do a search for Mach 1 chin spoiler and you can find them online.

I had Tokico shocks and struts but had to replace the rears with some Bilsteins to stiffen it up since I was having a rubbing issue on the outer lip of the fender. It was cutting into the tires when I would make a turn up a driveway.

  • i think it'll look good without the spoiler, just a thought,

  • nice. i have 18s on my car too

  • omg love them.. damn im ordering them now

  • clean bro, love it! what kind of exhaust?

  • Just some Magnaflow weld ins with Magnaflow stainless steel tips.

  • what kind of springs did you use, nice ridei like the stance

  • Eibach Sport springs. Lowered it 1.5 inches

  • NICE!

  • The rims were bought from Cruizin Concepts online and about $170 each. The tires were $1300 though.

  • @wasisnt What brand tires and what sizes did you get? Looks good, thanks.

  • The rear tires are 295/35/18 and the fronts are 275/35/18

  • awesome rims, how much did you pay for the rims/tires?

and where did you buy them at?

    THANKS!
