@shamim13333 bishop is an android of weyland. the aliens vs. predator game takes place some years after aliens. and also the weyland in the avp movie is different from the one in the game

In Aliens, it seems (as is with this game as well), that the Weyland Yutani corporation created the syntetics Bishop to pay homage to the long dead creator of Weyland Industries.

ok listen,, i agree the graphics kick ass and so on.. but what i hear is that all new games will not be single player based meaning mostly multiplayer so that leaves out great stories that could be made this was put together fast and not very well thought out.. the dificulty is to easy the sounds dont match up to the movie the mask for alien vision is just crazy ugly.. the multi is fun but i prefer older games since they had substance and much longer levels.. even though its old tech

I fail to see how a game more ancient than the dinosaurs can possibly be better than this game. And would you people get over the "It's too short therefore it sucks and it's a waste of money" thing? It's rediculous that people measure the quality of a game based on its length. Absolutely rediculous. That really pisses me off when I read comments saying that "The old one was better." It's technology, people! The new stuff is always better. Maybe not in every aspect. But over all, new is better.

graphics are better in this one, but game play, story, breadth of the old games AVP, and AVP2 were better. Graphics aren't the be all end all of a game. They are nice, but they are not a must. And I don't like spending $60 on a game I can finish in an evening. You kind of feel ripped off after than. But then I'm used to rpgs where you can get 100's of hours of gameplay.

@TheExitus87 True enough. And I agree with you about online games. I love rpgs, but I hate MMORPGs. I find they are ridiculously repetitive, not engaging in the least, and other idiots ruin the experience for you as well. I stay away from online gaming as a general rule. I had WOW and played until I got a human to level 24. It was the same crap over and over. So I uninstalled the game, and haven't touched it in almost three years.

i agree with this opinion.even short games can be great cuz some of them are so amazing and great,that they are replayable many times.and games with skirmish modes or MP can be played many times cuz everytime its different game and circumstances.

The story of the games will never be better than the story of the movies. So ultimately, the story of it doesn't matter to me. And the multiplayer. God damn dude. I think that's the most fun I've had online in a video game in a LONG time.

monolith and sierra made the best avp game and that was avp2. game play was perfect. these sega and rebellion dudes suck and valve with steam took over sierra and so i can understand it being on steam... but what a horrible demo. these guys know only 1 thing : graphics. new gen coders suck. bring back the old school pros. preds are nerfed - have to pick up weapons... jumping and traveling sucks for both pred and alien... avp2 is the best game and still holds its champion title of avp games.

amazing voice - up there with the greats such as Chris Walken and Daniel Day Lewis. IMO Alien 3 wasn't that bad really - it was similar in many ways to the first film. Let's hope that popularity brought about by a hopefully great game will provide the momentum to finally get the next 'good' alien film to be produced :)
