@TGunnmusic it's true, and james blake is awfully good at shaping his music with respect to it
in the second track, i like how the upper keys, pitch glide lead and vocals weave in and out of each other. it's so soulful and organic, so melancholic and human. but so much groove too, and produced in such perfect proportions. then of course, the bass is perfect, another perfectly shaped organ swath. james blake is definitely one of my favorite producers right now, no doubt.
The beats is totally on the ropes, the sound flows so mutated that it seems as if, he like molten mercury crawls out of every crack, the Soul is polished and strange what a experience listening to that is.
But at last In each part of this wonderful track you are completely overwhelmed how everything fits together, works as it should.
So, If you are looking for music that shows in the future, or even further, or think that there allready is a Post-Dubstep Era ,you will be totally happy here! Brilliant to the last detail!
Mainly because you simply do not hear them, but are (confined) to enjoy the whole swing and groove of the precise detail work in this outstanding track!
