No, the simple explanation to this is that you have lower standards for anime. A good anime can replace the characters with stick figures with emotions and still be good. This has got to be one of the most failure of an Eroge adaptations ever, and usually eroge adaptations are great (clannad, kanon, etc) this anime is just good character designs (which is taken from the game itself and isnt as good as it is from the game) and everything else is terrible. Yea we have standards

Anime originally direct at Jap , so it's no wonder we think "wtf ,this anime sucks" cuz in terms of culture, Japan is different from US. but i think this show isn't popular in japan.

well i dont know why u guys hate this anime but its an anime. I think it was funny and I liked it not like u guys who write reviews listing most of the negative things and fogetting the positive things. i rlly enjoyed the anime and if u didnt watch akaneiro u should watch it cuz it rlly gets funny and dont listen to this trash here cuz the positive things and the funny scenes can change ur mind but if u dont like it just live with it not like this guy who starts whining cuz he didnt like it =O .

If you really think of this as an acceptable anime then that's you. But like most of the people who watch anime, I found this show rather stupid for the obvious reasons that I stated. There are just more bad things to say about it than good.
