@QuestioningAnswers Not necessarily. This is 8,000-10,000wrms sealed. Meade's Tahoe is 30,000wrms ported. It's already a dumb comparison when the "Meade" factor comes in, but physically, these setups are very different. This guy = 154 on TL. Meade is still a 153-154 only at 40Hz as opposed to probably 50ish here.

The resonant frequency of a Chevrolet Tahoe dependent on year is between 38-42Hz. Steve's box is built on the small side so it isn't quite as capable of reproducing the 30-36Hz range as efficient as one would think. Yet, still impressive nonetheless.

Plus being at a burp frequency, this isn't all that impressive in all honesty for all of the potential it has. Though they are Fi SSD's, being sealed should up their power handling, etc. Meh. Still a dumb comparison nonetheless.

I have a 2000 chevy tahoe with four pioneer twelves in a seald enclosure with a mtx 1500 watt amp but I want more. Anybody have any suggestions? I was thinking about 2 fi btls 18"s but I'm not sure because I used to have 4 kicker comp 15s in a sealed enclosure but hated the way it sounded. I like too feel the bass more then hear it. And I got that from my 4 12"s so I'm afraid the bigger I go in subs the less it will pick up the low tones that shake my kar. So can some one let me kno please.

@MRJJ5200 the smaller the subs the lower they hit usually but if you were to put the subs you got in an enclosure tuned at 32-35 Hz you would be so much louder and would probably slam the lows way more. you probly had the 15's in a bad box
