Once you start it up you have to take the brake off before trying to move it. The brake has to be on before it will start too. There isn't anything wrong with the mower. I have one and love it for the work it does on the large area I have to mow.

@2008FORDF450V8 I did notice that the guy stood up and the mower didn't die on him. That is a safety problem and mine will die if I get up off the seat or try to operate the mower with the brake on. That is a great lawn mower though and I love mine so much. My J.D. 790 tractor would die also when I got up off the seat at first until I had to replace some bushings under the seat years later.

it's not a safety problem, the mower will only continue to run if the e-brake is on, and the deck is disengaged.

Kawasaki engine has had really bad reviews. Kohler seems to be the best choice.

This has the 25 horsepower KAWASAKI FH721V V-Twin OHV Air-Cooled engine with Oil cooler., But Kohler engines are better becuase the 28hp Command Pro V-Twin OHV air-cooled engine is Fuel Injected as are some other engine models.
