The Western def. of "good" singing is Beyonce/Mariah Carey-style. Perfume can't do that, but they can still sing pretty well, without the autotune.

@PhantomLude It's 'cause they have to focus on the dance that they pre-record themselves singing for concerts. Almost all artist do this that have a dance to their song.

@Lizethdarocker no they lipsync cos the song has been autotuned 48 times and their real voices arent very good. im not a perfume hater, i like perfume, just stating the facts. the performance is good too. if u wanna hear them without autotune, look for the song perfume during their triangle tour

Do you realize how tiring it is to dance and sing at the same time? Especially when you are performing live in front of thousand of people for about 3-4 hours? Most performers have no other choice but to lipsync and dance to their song. Not because of clique overrated vocal program but the aspect of saving the energy for the performance alone.

@kakuu0000 uh, actually A-chan in particular is quite talented at singing. They're all fairly good singers, not Mariah Carey if that's your standard, but quite good. It's why they were initially very upset and opposed to the autotune method.
