  • How did you get the background to be such a even jet black? Was that photoshop work or simply because you had shut out all the other ambient light?

  • @adityakapoor4 The background is just severely underexposed. The light in the room was low, but as you can see from the video, it was enough for me to walk around in. So I just made sure that the photo was completely black without the flash, then the flash just illuminates the subject. You have to be careful not to let the flash illuminate the rest of the room too, and the soft box and snoot help control that.
