  • Beautiful piece of music. I might be able to write a story to this if any ideas are solid enough to use.

  • Woah, listening to it again, it really reminds me of Xenogears.

    Awesome game, awesome soundtrack.

  • Beautiful sountrack!

  • "I remember this from Disgaea and La Pucelle"

Eh, it was another game? 0_o Interesting...

  • Did you double the track length? The one I have is only 2:57.

  • @kyuugoki Yes I did. And if you want it, copy this youtube url, go to keepvid.com, paste the url, and select Download as Mp3 ^^

  • so sad, but i have to keep playing...

    quit chooping onions god dammit ; _ ;

  • Do somebody knows another game with that amount of sadness, epicness, parodies, stategy and Prinnys? Then tell me!

  • @youkh2 I know of games, but, none with Prinnies XD

  • Anyone know other music like this

    ?

  • @sephirothness What do you mean, similar in sound?

  • This song puts me to sleep at night or should i say puts my mind at ease ^_^

  • didn't this play in the cutscene before the Vulcanus battle?

  • 就像哭泣的聲咅

  • Though I may get thumbed down for saying this, but this song reminds me of a song from a Legend of Zelda game. Can't quite remember the name, but yeah... similar.

  • @Larry2900 The singing kind of sounds like Epona's song.

  • Why are the highest rated comments the ones praising Atlus? The game and its score were made by Nippon Ichi...

  • @chocobunneh Maybe because they were thumbing up the praise for the song, and not the mistake in who made it? I was unaware at the time I wrote that comment that I was praising the wrong group, but I still meant every word I said.

  • @Khelevandros don't you start being reasonable on youtube and having logic, hell will tear loose

  • @scottzirpolo

this is also my favorite song i did the same thing u did cuzz i loved it s much

but the first time i heard it...well i had no choice but to cry cuzz it was just beautiful

  • This song is really sad....and it's sadder to me since my ps2 died, plus my computer is not powerful enough to run a ps2 emu, and I won't buy a PSP, so I can't play Disgaea anymore :(

  • @Xlay3r if you have a ds, theres a version for that.....

  • *sigh*

Such sorrow... the sorrows of a frozen wasteland...

Sadness is not the right word.

Only 'sorrow' can describe this emotion... ;')

  • MaronaPossessed thank you for Extending

this i am go download this song on my psp ^^

  • This song seems to take all the sorrows of the world and give them voice...

  • this song makes me cry when i'm sad about being away from home

  • It sounds sooooooo sad, it's making me want to cry! * starts to get tears in her eyes* thanks for the uplode!

  • It's a really great composition. It's got the feeling of an icy wasteland. It's beautiful in it's sorrow...

  • Although I feel no version can beat the

PS2 version of disgaea, the one thing I liked about the DS was the music purchase... just so I could set the dungeon to this song. ;D <3Favorite.

  • Favorite song in the game, hands down.

Played through the Lunar Snowfield so many times just to hear this.

  • This song makes me want to cry.

  • best song ever and all of you have a rigth to sad

  • I remember this from Disgaea and La Pucelle. In La Pucelle they would play this when you get a bad scene, a character death, or during the dark Prince. (Can't remember all)

  • So sad...This is probably something I won't forget...

  • Absolutely, hands down, favorite song in ALL of Disgaea, or of all Atlus games entirely.

This is one of the most beautiful, haunting, tear inducing songs I've ever heard, and I love every second of it.

The first level this song gets played in is a random level, the one with the large groups of tree demons (forget what they're called) with the first two Sentinels you ever fight, and the whole field is DEF 100% IDK why that's the first lvl with this music but i sat there forever listening.

  • My absolute favourite thing about this track is that instead of sticking it in a sappy cutscene, they just play it as the regular level music, as you sit there plotting out character movements, crunching numbers in your head... it really gets to you. The whole chapter is almost painful to play.

  • They do put it in the sad cutscenes as well though :P and it makes them much sadder then they would have been otherwise.

Having it as normal music in a level makes those levels take me forever lol. I just sit there and listen to the music forever

  • Especially when you're massacring those low-level Oakrots. They're just standing there staring outwards.

  • is a good

  • i mint is a good song

  • @Khelevandros

Its not a random level, the reason it plays on that level is because of the cutscene before it.

  • @Khelevandros but it's a NIS game

  • @StWolfie

Yeah I was confused about which company was behind the game/s at the time. Thanks for the correction though.

  • @Khelevandros i agree 1000000%

  • @Khelevandros

You do know that Atlus only published Disgaea, right? They're not the producers... Nippon Ichi Software is.

So technically, it's not really an Atlus game...

  • @Khelevandros Woah, finally somebody that remembers this song from the same place as me XD

  • @Khelevandros Man.. I know exactly how you feel.. lol..

  • I always loved this song whenever it came up. I'd just leave the game on and listen to it loop.

  • I love this song. Its beautiful. So calm and peaceful, but you can feel the melancholy and sorrow seeping through. It begs questions..why? Why does everything have to be like this? Why is this our world? What have we done? Can it ever be the same again?

  • that sounds, cool. thats what i think it feels like too...

  • How poetic...I don't do poetry, but that did make me ask those questions...

  • Thank you kindly.

  • To be honest as another poetic note.

This is the song the angel's play when they cry. When they feel the sorrows of our world.
