On britneys recorded songs she uses three or four voices to give depth to her voice and create a layered effect. Obviously when shes singing live to playback she can only sing in one voice, obviously,this part is live but the layered vocals are still heard with the playback track. I like the live stuff she does with a rockier feel, like the version of oops i heard from one of her tours with live drums and guitars and a live vocal, had a really tour feel to it, was great!
