just go to preferences and say don't allow overlapping between fields.

I was told that this method works on firefox - have not tried it yet:

for firefox, have plow selected. bring to where it is green, and left click but do not let go. now right click, while still holding the left button down. now you can release the left button and right button. move your mouse to where u would like to overlap and double click left mouse button.

You must use Internet Explorer. Will not work on Firefox. Once you have them stacked, you can then use Firefox to plow and replant.

I'm honestly not sure but for the boxes you do the same thing, just click to buy one from store and right click then place
