1:10 under one head, even Christ. could be a reference to Constantine right. Diocletian was certainly an anti-christ in the mold of Nero 666. as was Commodus in the mode of Caligula. Commodus was born the same day as Caligula and imitated his life in many respects he knew himself that he was Caligula re-incarnated as it explains in the Augustan History.

@shawneci Yeah, it's satirical. I'm shocked by this. Paul does what any classical Greek dramatist would do. Moses did it first, in Psalm 90, so it's a Biblical style: words at the top reference what GOD does; at the bottom, cynical commentary on man's future history. Yearly. Isaiah picked up where Moses left off, then Daniel roped his Chapter 9 to both Moses and Isaiah, and Paul wraps around all 3, sniping at what would become the RCC under Constantine. Then John in Rev wraps around Paul!

@brainouty So the same words do double-duty. When you see how deft and clever this is, that its prophetical and oh so accurate, you know Bible has to be from God. No doubt about it, proof is in the text itself.
