I have a new found appreciation of Sandara. When hardly any Filipino musicians sing abroad in Tagalog , Sandara was the only one to sing in Tagalog in Sketchbook.

I like sandara, but i'm not sure how popular she will be in korea. its really hard to become a successful pop star in korea. they work really hard, sleep very little, have outrageously demanding schedules, and don't get paid that much (the management gets most of the money). especially now with the korean and global economy going down the tubes, its hard to get the advertisers and corporate sponsors. a lot of shows are cutting back. good luck, sandara! hwaiting!

I already knew sandara could dance...she danced quite well on ASAP. As for singing, well, she's taking voice lessons now. Have you watched Wonder Girls or Girls Generation dance and sing? they're also quite talented. Big Bang brought a new "gangsta" style of music to Korea, which no one really dared to do. but female "gangsta" music in conservative Korea?

when I meant not treated right I was referring to the treatment she got from entertainment industry. The industry took her as a pretty clown who attracts audiences. Her fans are great! Is it her fault that she was always given the "ignorant and cheesy roles?" When she came back from korea she was treated like a thing of the past. That's the way the industry goes I guess. Make money while you can.

i super agree....although i'm a filipino...i'm very happy for her because she improved a lot when she decided to go back home for good...YG definitely isn't just an entertainment company...they always make sure that every artist that comes in their hands improve and expose their talent more^^...

I like sandara, but i'm not sure how popular she will be in korea. its really hard to become a successful pop star in korea. they work really hard, sleep very little, have outrageously demanding schedules, and don't get paid that much (the management gets most of the money). especially now with the korean and global economy going down the tubes, its hard to get the advertisers and corporate sponsors. a lot of shows are cutting back. good luck, sandara! hwaiting!

i know she was in Gummy's mv, and she kissed TOP. but doing that probably earned her more korean anti-fans than fans. sandara is talented and I like her. but i haven't seen her do anything yet that wonder girls or girls generation can't already do. maybe she and her group will prove me wrong. hahaha...ilyanime, you're taking this so seriously. well, there's still about four or five months before her debut in Korea. So we'll see. I already knew sandara could dance...she danced quite well on ASAP. As for singing, well, she's taking voice lessons now. Have you watched Wonder Girls or Girls Generation dance and sing? they're also quite talented. Big Bang brought a new "gangsta" style of music to Korea, which no one really dared to do. but female "gangsta" music in conservative Korea?
