Movie Club Review: Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

The books are extremely good (probably better than the movies) and it's okay if you've seen the movies first 'cause they don't always stay faithful to the books. Warning though, "The Girl Who Played With Fire" does not live up to your expectations as a sequel BUT "The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets Nest" in my opinion is an even better movie than the first one :)

this movie is one of my favourites. the story is great and the acting is phenomenal.

i agree. it definitely was a really heavy movie. wish i had at least been warned about the rape scenes before i watched it. kind of traumatizing. i think the original Swedish title "Men Who Hate Women" is more fitting.

The whole book series is amazing and the other two movies, to me, are just as good as the first. I really hope the American version follows the books as well as the Sweden ones did.

from what I saw in the X-men:first class previews, the American version comes out in December :)
