I am not a believer but I think the part where he says that he would flip a coin to make important decisions because he believed that with his faith in Jesus no matter what choice he made it would be the right one; I think this is very important. Whether you have faith or not I think it is important to believe in what you do. This belief helps people have greater conviction and less anxiety about facing life's problems. This man is a true role model.
Trust me, this diagnosis is not easily accepted by the ones diagnosed w/ it, it's not like it's a badge of honor-in the survivors eyes. I have an alter or two that their main job is to protect and hold the pain and anger=not an easy job. I believe he has it and he is doingf a good job dealing w/ it, and bringing attention to it for the benefit of others. You go Hershel! And Dr. M is a great Doc, isn't he?
i think he has an anger management problem more than a multiple personality problem. non the less it takes a real man to admit they have a problem and solve it 100%
I remember a lifetime ago, dancing & laughing with Herschel in a club in Auburn AL ... back when we were students at Auburn University ...back when he was "just" Auburn's star football player... a really great guy who stuttered a little. How could I have possibly known then that we were both "survivors", with DID, & would even be helped by the same remarkable man: Dr.Jerry Mungadze? It's a small world, Herschel... thank you for helping to heal it. :)
it's amazing to see that he's told the world about this. It shows people that it can happen to anyone, no matter how "perfect" they may seem. Great vid 5*

I have to agree with you and the others saying this just doesn't 'feel' right. I work with DID - this is ANGER, not DID.

this diagnosis is inaccurate in my opinion

Do you mean this particular diagnosis, or classification of this disorder?
