@bradas128 Not very, Fire spells hit extra hard, Polypore does not, but Fire spells don't have the extra damage on the Glacytes which is why Polypore is goood for them, high hitting and you don't need to change items.

@RsMelekonen That's the spell I normally use but this is far more cost efficent and not everyone wants to buy a 12m staff and spend 2m on just one kind of rune for one trip :). SOA is so good there because with its minimum hit of 200 when 99 magic, and extreme mage, the exploding one is easy to kill even though it heals 200 while your attacking if not finished in the few seconds after it explodes.

@Tybagsftw Yeah i sold my arma bstaff + runes and from now on ill use polypore :p

what does the staff do?

@MimePka You need 15k fire runes and 3k spores and you get 3k charges. The spores are about 150 gp each and fire runes are cheap. The staff has it's own spell that doesnt require a spellbook. I've maxed 542.
