I was wondering if anyone knows where I can buy all of the WKRP episodes with the original music. Its my favourite show - I'm only sorry I didn't tape them when I had the chance. - the new version with the altered music just isn't the same.
One of the all time great shows. My friends and I still refer back certain episodes or scenes, they are as funny today as they were back when I was young. Miss those days!
@IAimToMisbehave42 I wonder if the show's costume department made Herb's suits, or did they buy them off the rack? Then again, maybe they mugged a pimp.
I agree. And the cast looks like they had such a great time making the episodes even if they were treated like crud by the network. I am SO glad that they are reairing the episodes on WGN. I was born in 1986 so up until a couple of months ago I never watched an episode of WKRP and now it is my fav show.
Thanks flowerchild. As a kid, I watched most episodes as they aired back in the late 70's. About a year ago I purchased the first 2 seasons on DVD. Still funny.
Interesting fact: Les's sign-off is almost a carbon copy of longtime real-life Miami TV anchor Ralph Renick's ("Good night, and may the good news be yours!").

Who ever came up with the name "Herb Tarlick" was right on, with this character.

This is the most convoluted sense of logic I have ever heard.

speaking of belts matching shoes - I remember the show when Herb wore a white belt & I think Randy mentioned it & shook his head in disgust LOL

With the sorry state of radio and being a former on-air jock, I can say the "suits" won. With the help of the US Congress.

@dumbbo1 Pimps are too stylish to ever wear some of Herb's suits.
