  • the scary part is... in it's warped way.. it makes sense.

  • Who ever came up with the name "Herb Tarlick" was right on, with this character.

  • This is the most convoluted sense of logic I have ever heard.

  • speaking of belts matching shoes - I remember the show when Herb wore a white belt & I think Randy mentioned it & shook his head in disgust LOL

  • With the sorry state of radio and being a former on-air jock, I can say the "suits" won. With the help of the US Congress.

  • Les Nesman is one of the best characters ever

  • It's so true. This is smart.

  • One of the greatest comedy ensembles of all time. The entire cast was great. Definitely my favorite TV series.

  • Oh why can't we bring back the days when the belt had to match the shoes..lol

  • @Lennon4life1968 LOL and no white shoes before Memorial Day, or after Labor Day... non of this "Winter white" crap..LOL

  • One of the all time great shows. My friends and I still refer back certain episodes or scenes, they are as funny today as they were back when I was young. Miss those days!

  • GO HERB

  • I remember clothes like that! Thank God I escaped having to wear one of those to work!

  • Herb was a casualty of war.

  • love this programme

  • Herb's suit lost the war badly.

  • @IAimToMisbehave42 I wonder if the show's costume department made Herb's suits, or did they buy them off the rack? Then again, maybe they mugged a pimp.

  • @dumbbo1 Pimps are too stylish to ever wear some of Herb's suits.

  • @IAimToMisbehave42 EVERY suit he wore lost the war!

  • Definatly one of the best shows of all time.

  • Scott Donahue made me watch this.....gee thanks

  • One of the funniest sitcoms ever, in my opinion.

  • Totally agree. Everything about this show was great.

  • except it's sudden cancellation by CBS in 1982 :(

  • I agree. And the cast looks like they had such a great time making the episodes even if they were treated like crud by the network. I am SO glad that they are reairing the episodes on WGN. I was born in 1986 so up until a couple of months ago I never watched an episode of WKRP and now it is my fav show.

  • Thanks flowerchild. As a kid, I watched most episodes as they aired back in the late 70's. About a year ago I purchased the first 2 seasons on DVD. Still funny.

  • I hope Leo Sayer is impressed that his pin-up is in the background of this classic!!!

  • i love this tv show

  • Herb was a sharp dresser. Love the leisure suits...rage on Herb. Rage on.

  • That would be sad for the guy in Miami. How cheezy is that?

  • Interesting fact: Les's sign-off is almost a carbon copy of longtime real-life Miami TV anchor Ralph Renick's ("Good night, and may the good news be yours!").
