1) Drew Barrymore was an A-lister at the time. She was used to attract attention for the film.

2) Her being on the cover is the same as Janet leigh on the cover of 'Psycho'. It's a twist to make you think she will be the 'survivor girl'.

3) Her role might have been small, but she gained critical acclaim for it. I think she deserves to be on the cover.

I love how this movie almost didnt get made b/c like so many other Hollywood successes nobody believed in it, the script writer had a really hard time getting the ball rolling but there is almost nothing better in life than sticking it to a bunch of assholes who told you you were destined to fail. 4.If the killer is calling you and you just hung up the phone and 3 seconds later the phone rings do not answer it

Neither. They used an entirely different voice actor for the killer in all of the Scream movies. Additionally, the script never mentioned which killer made which phone calls.

My guess is that Stu would have made all of the calls, considering that Billy was arrested at one point, and Stu would have needed to call. It would also have been more convenient for only one of them to keep the voice changer and make all the calls.
