One thanksgiving, my mom and I were riding back from my grandma's and this song was on my MP3 player.. the version by John Corbett and it made my mom cry. you see, she had been fighting cancer for about 2 years and she had been told that the cancer would take her within a few months. Luckily, she beat their predictions by almost 8 months, but listening to this song was one of the few times i had seen her truly happy since that day... that and dancing around to "things are fixin to get real good"

One of my favorite songs by Jason Aldean. I had listened to it before and liked it, when one day the opportunity came to take the song truly in. On the day we buried my aunt, mother of five daughters, and a good and caring woman whose love goes on after she left, i listened to this song while driving in the funeral procession. Never before have I felt the power of a song like I did this one on that day driving in that funeral procession.
