Even in making comedy of the situation, he managed to keep his reverence for the occassion and the admiration he felt for Ted Koppel clear and unquestionable. And yet he made the whole room laugh. THAT is AMAZING.
as much as Jon dose not consiter himself a news man he is, he would never tell a lie about the news accept for some jokes and they are always out ragous and you know its just a joke. I trust him not to lie to me then any american news out let.
Ted Koppel did more to damage race relations in this country than anyone in the history of broadcasting. For over two-decades, Koppel used the vast power of his Nightline show to drill into millions of minds that Caucasians, especially males, are the absolute scum-of-the-earth!
He especially worked on blacks with his campaign of slamming Caucasians, hence we now have a black-on-white crime epidemic that's off the charts!
These days the Golden Piehole lives comfortably as a retired millionaire.
@andyx1205 i love jon stewart just as much as a the next guy...but you have no idea of the complications involved in the political process...give barack a break, he's pretty good
Was this the same year the main event was hosted by the unbelievably awful Howie Mandell et al? If so, they should be glad this wasn't televised. Don't want to invite the comparison.
very moving - do we see how he'll be in old age- a kind of sage, just that he takes himself awfully seriously i suppose. he also perhaps suffers from this thing of men among men - he does not admire women of importance in this way and doesn't despite having a wife appreciate women's importance...oh well, i love him too.

No, he's not a poet.
Jon Stewart = God
Fuck, America needs Jon Stewart as President, with Stephen Colbert as VP. Maybe then the country can get some shit done.
Nothing against Obama, he's smart, but he isn't getting shit done, guy's intelligent but a wimp.

John Stewart, one of the smartest, funniest, people who should be in a real government. He would be fantastic.
However, he is too smart to even want the job. Pity, he would be the most remarkable president EVER, and I DO mean EVER!!!
Ok, Stephen Colbert as V.P......"The Greatest Show on Earth!!" ooooooooooooooo, me likeeee!
