And I also agree with samloveshorses - your hands are not forward enough over the jumps - you pull on her mouth and prevent her from properly rounding over the jumps. Example at 1:57, those reigns are WAY too tight. Your hands should be MID-NECK. and the reigns LOOSE as she folds. Otherwise the result will be an uptight horse with a sore mouth who cat-leaps (example 1:33) Hope this was helpful XXX

i no ur jus tryin to be helpful so i wont take it the wrong way but this was wot.. a year or so ago wen reli i was pretty much stril learnin to ride, first time jumping this pony and ym mum wasnt sure how much she has jumped in the path tbh if it was u at the same stage as me i dont think u wud hav done any better, and 1.33 she didnt put another stride in and babe at the end of the day its videos and pictures of a pony and a person u no nothin bout at all

No but I do know about riding and the correct way to do it :-) I also know about what makes a pony go better, having trained and taught numerous people on them. My advice is purely my riding instructor side taking over - take it or leave it hun! its up to you! Good luck tho - your pony looks fab. :-D

She is fab. You lean forward way too much over jumps - your seat should only leave the saddle AS THE PONY TAKES OFF!! You will have a nasty experience one day if you continue like that because whenever a pony refuses you will be over his head!!!

Its not that they are too short - its that she is not pushing her hands forward as the pony takes off - her hands should be MID-NECK there, instead they don't move and so yank on the pony's mouth.

at 1:07 u hit her back....her neck looks a lil short for u...and u have a really good 2-point over jumps bsides the 1:07 jump....and i think u guys make a great pair...can u sit her canter? or post to her trot?? my pony has such a short stride i just do a sitting trot the whole time...lol! ur really good! watch me and gossip!

you should lengthen your rains off a bit so that she has some room to go forwood over the jump and put her head forwood a bit
