  • dam, tht game makes me smile, Old Good Times <3

  • I love this game. Old good times

  • I remember playing this as a child, on a family friend's computer, just once. I was fascinated by the concept. I'd played Home Alone on the SNES, which was just a mundane platformer, but this one involved setting traps within a realistically laid-out house, within a tense time limit. I realise now that it's simpler and shallower than it looked, but it certainly captured my imagination then, and for quite some time afterwards. Still, it's an interesting game, and an early example of its kind.

  • The perspective on the room beyond the open door at 2:04 is mystifying. Even when you work it out, it still looks horribly awkward.

Speaking of which, I don't think those giant digitised pictures of Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern during the setup phase are particularly flattering.

  • omg i couldnt play this game as a kid, it was really scary >_<

  • I had never noticed that Harry is clenching his fist while chasing. Is he that angry? XD

  • It's amazing how many commercial Amiga games used the same ST-xx samples. They aren't even that good.

On the other hand, the game doesn't even look finished, really.

  • the musics like a cross between monkey island and shadow of the beast!

  • The music sounds like it belongs in a survival horror!

  • didnt there make 2 that dumb on a Amiga

  • this will be kool on a ps2

  • @bobyard123 go for it :) you could play this version on a ps2 with an Amiga Emu. I'd try Zophars Domain I see the PSX EMU for Amiga could try running it on the PS2 if not I hear there are some good psp EMU's for this the ps2 Amiga emu might fade away here in 3 years as some people are working on one for ps3

  • this take me back

  • Random chirping and blipping at its best!

  • Whats Joe Pesci smiling at? Do I amuse you Joe?

  • The Genesis version is a lot better.

  • i like the music

i prefere this game on sega megadrive

  • this game was the shit lol

  • this music sounds more like some Halloween IV: The Revenge of Michael Myers opening credits music. Scary shit

  • i went to buy this game as a kid but it wouldnt work as it was made for the amiga 500 + and i had the amiga 500. or vice versa

  • I never finished this game:(...thx so much for posting it!!!!!!!!!!!:)

  • Man so, many people in the credits.... For such a pile of feces !

  • "Developed by:

    Manley & Associates"

    *CRUSH BALL*

    Haha, I get it....

  • incredibly bad music

  • i played this game to death back in the day

  • i've never played this port of "home alone," but i have to say, i love the music and the sound effects. the graphics are pretty cool, too.

  • I played this game back then alot. I still might have the floppy disk :> (Or I might have threw it away, dunno)

  • Where I can download this game and how plzz help

  • How I can download this game

  • how do i fire with the gun?....i need the answer please :]

  • I never was able to complete this game, so frustrating! Nice vid

  • a family game without the family

  • the music is creepy

  • on the other side: the marv and harry music is kinda cool

  • If I remeber correctly this game got close to zero, one of the lowest scores ever for an Amiga game in a review.

  • HA! Top.

  • never played this one, but it has the WORST EVER MADE MUSIC on an amiga-game...! o0

  • id like to know as well, loved this game.

  • I remember this game scared the hell out of me because of the music.

  • the music is pretty scary for a game that was meant for kids lol

  • the music in this game is pretty good. it's a whole lot more fitting than that music from the NES version.

  • COOL

  • Odd how you set all these traps, with no current threat...you never see the 2 crooks, so how does he know to set traps? seems a lapse in logic!

  • So that's how you finish the game! I remember spending hours playing without having a clue of what I was supposed to do. Never even finished it haha!

  • i remmeber this thing where u press f1 or f2 and jump quickly u can jump real high and sometimes if theres a glitch u will stay high up. but if u walk u will fall. i usually do that and wait for the enemy to walk below me and they cant catch me

  • i remember this game, i usually put the stuff on the 2nd floor

  • I have the Home Alone and Home Alone 2 board games.

  • they could call this game home alone meets halloween beacuse the music is scary

  • sure looks better than the developers' attempt at that Wizard of Oz game that the AVGN took on months ago. apparently, Manley & Associates focused more on computer games than on console ones, much like most other American and European companies did.

  • Didn't Manley also do The Pink Panther for Sega Genesis and SNES which was even worse than Oz due to the fact that there were no passwords at all? Also, what happens if the wet bandits catch you in this game?

  • according to MobyGames, yep. not very surprising, for some reason. they even made a game based on the short-lived cartoon series, "King Arthur and the Knights of Justice".

    to answer your second question, er...well, i haven't played this before. in fact, i haven't played a single Amiga or C64 game in my life. so, you'd have to ask someone like cubex55 about that. ^^;

  • If Harry or Marv catch you, the game ends immediately; you lose. There's even less fanfare than you get for the 'ending' to it ("Oh no! They caught you"). I played the PC version a time or two- I never knew there was an Amiga version. Fun game with an interesting concept, even if the ending sucks. =3

  • The music is really scary!

  • how can i find this game?

    :s

  • he got a massive house

  • sweet memories =) Played when I was 10

  • memorieeees

  • ahh man. I had this on the amiga 1200 and bloody loved it. I was only 12 at the time and was always scared when the robbers invaded my house. Especially the music, lol sounds like something from a horror movie.

  • i loved that game when i was like 6-7

  • there is a home alone GAME? where have I been... is there a pc version?

  • There are actually like 5 (or possibly even more) different Home Alone games... This is the least known, on the Amiga, but at least NES and SNES, and I think Genesis games exist too. They aren't different versions of this, though, they are completetly different games.

Which I guess is even more disturbing... And now you are no doubt enthralled to hear that there are actually at least 2 or 3 games based on Home Alone 2 too...

  • Man I remember playing this game in daycare. I loved playing this game!

  • I quite liked the music. The game was pretty average.

  • that is some wied but funny music it doesnt fit home alone

  • looks spmewhat decent, but very hard

  • i kick arse in this game. if you break 7 traps out of 26 your screwed.

  • what system is this?

  • I think it's sega genisis

  • Amiga 500

  • lol, 5 exclamation marks for such a good job

  • oh my god. I remember how freaking HARD this was! I remember beating it ONLY ONCE, and that was when i realised how to use the spider. UGH... freaking annoying controls too

  • blind guyz got owned by a lil' kid.

  • wow, my record is 1.02 but this was very fast

  • Hmm... cool.

  • better graphics than ps3 and xbox360

  • yeah, the blur and glow effects are really good, better graphics than GTA IV, per exemple.

  • This is just as bad as the nes version

  • Why are the robbers dancing and walking like Michael Jackson?

  • aahh this brings back memorys...
