I love the last picture of Jonathan at 7:47. He looks like he's having a good time. His sweet smile hasn't changed over the years. He's such a cutie--I just want to give him a great big hug!

Hi FridFemmeFan...I don't really think he has really "let himself go"...it is just age catching up to him...as it does us all. He will be 86 this December. I'm glad you enjoyed my tribute to him! Cheers! ~ Wendy J.

Wendy, this tribute is especially well done. I think that the music got me a little misty-eyed, however--something about the passing of time and a "flame that still burns". At 3:40, he actually looks like he belongs to another century--a portrait come to life! The expression is haunting and it is among many qualities which endear Barnabas to us and breaks our hearts. Some of these photos I had not seen (1:16; 3:41; 5:19-21), while others were like old friends to be cherished.

Hi Chatroomchi..The song is: The Flame Still Burns from the movie: Strange Fruit. I think the artist is Jimmy Nail....but I'm not 100% on that. I am so glad you enjoyed this! :)
