u gotta eat at least 1500 kalories per day (as a woman my size and weight) to not get ur metabolism down...thats the kalories ur body needs just to breathe and be able to have all the body functions (excuse my english) .... if u eat less ur metabolism will shut down and u gonna ruin it.....
You are an abomination to the culinary world. Why did I have to stumble upon this video? Now I can never try shirataki noodles without being reminded of this, instantly triggering my gag reflex.
You can buy MRS. WAGES PICKLING LIME (calcium hydroxide) from ebay BUT what he's making doesn't use it. I *tried* to make shirataki noodles using pickling lime & I did something wrong, because it didn't work.
See the video making of konnyaku for how to make shirataki noodles

You can get this for $19# +$5 shipping for 2 bags or $10 shipping for up to 12# (I think) at konjacfoods - Starwest also sells bulk powder but I don't know where to get it.
When you say frying I assume oil, but that would kinda kill the health benefit and it looks like you poured water in there...is it water or oil? Do you only season after you put it in the pan or can it be mixed before hand with spices and veggies and such? Thanks so much for making this vid and showing how easy it is; I just ordered my first bag with high hopes!
Thanks I bought the powder and the noodles, they said you hav to use pickled lime but don't this is great.. I heard this is also great as a thickener for suces. And yes you can take t by mouth a tsp in a full glss of water and drink it before it gets thick, I heard that on the D. Oz show. Take if 1/2 hour before a meal and it wllfill you up.
That's really good advice! Don't go crazy on this stuff! Make sure u get enough calories so you lose the weight gradually, and u will not harm urself.
I read in the bag that it has 5 grams of Carbs per every 5 grams of powder Which is basically 5 grams of carbs per 1 teaspoon. Do you know if these are net carbs? kindda sounds like allot of carbs.
What do you do with the "dumplings" after you cook them up? I tried to make the noodles with the powder & pickling lime & had no luck. This is wild. Nothing I read mentioned this method. Do the "dumplings" have powder in the middle?

I am glad you showed this alternative to buying the noodles already made. I want to have other texture options for the Konjac noodles.
