While they portray themselves as skeptics, I'm disappointed in them that they would dwell on that. Dude, it's a freaking mirror! We got a thermal imaging camera of our own for one night, so we descided to see if it really was just a reflection. We looked at ourselves in the bacthroom mirror and got an almost identical result. Why do you think there's a hot spot on his shoulder? It's the camera!

your dumb. heat can be reflected onto metal and shit (including mirrors) and they will get picked up on the thermal cams. this happened on an episode of ghost lab.

I believe this is real footage, i trust this show, i trust jason and grant to not pull anything funny, and considering how some shows get absolutely nothing i believe it's real. you really only get something like this once a season, if you're lucky
you can see if you play from the beginning, the image looks down and seems to move back, and look down. as the frame pans down you can see not only the hat but also a belt, a bit of a belly and narrow hips. you can also se a hand at about chest level that seems to be positioned as if he was leaning against the locker. the glowing 2 could be a chemical thing maybe glue or something.
Yes There is NO possible way a locker can reflect heat from them standing that far away. Explain why the Number 2 Is Hotter then Body temp? Does not matter if they where at different angles or behind it there is NO way to reflect That heat form the DULL locker which could not reflect any type of Image.
I just don't know how the image would be picked up through the metal locker door. Flir doesn't see through objects and it can't pick up reflections. Why is the 2 hot but not the rest of the door. As Grant stands next to the door he doesn't project a heat signiture when Jay is filming him. This is the be flir proof of somethng not human ever recorded, IMO.
Different compounds reflect heat in different ways. If the "2" is white paint, it would reflect thermal radiation strongly. The surface of the locker would also reflect thermal radiation. It's hard to tell whether a hat is worn or not. I'm thinking the apparition is a thermal reflection from the locker as subsequent attempts only point at the doorway.
If you guys look good. you can see that the ghost body is a little above room temperature. grant on thermal is as high as the thermal gets. and the 2 stays the same color. course the battery is low. some of my gizzmos malfunction when the battery is low. I do not think that is a malfunction though.

I'm with u on this one!It is reflection look at the footage and you will notice that where what would appear to be the "Ghost's arm " is a hot spot which looks like a question mark...when you look at the compare footage later you see the question mark hotspot slightly off to the right of where it was originally so the hot spot is constant but the thermal imager is pointed more left than it was originally which is why they don't get the same reflection back as they did before.
Yep. The figure is obviously grant holding the thermal imaging device. They later shot their "debunking" video using a VERY different angle and distance to the locker while maintaining that they used the exact same angle. Also, far IR reflects MUCH easier than visible light so for them to claim they couldn't get a reflection when they tried is ridiculous. This is a good example of how little regard taps has for the intelligence of their fans.

The first reason i have for not believing this is because there isn't any evidence. Who says that ghosts have a heat signature? That's just something that some person made up to explain a weird shape on their camera. We honestly have no physical proof of ghosts because they are so easy to fake. The only way i'll believe in them is if i have a first hand experience. Even then there are SO many factors to take into account it's difficult to define an "encounter."
Its odd that, if it was a person, it was giving off a very cold signature, with only one warm part. It doesn't look heavily clothed to keep the warmth inside the clothing, so iunno.

Faking thermal 'evidence' on a metal locker is very easy....just lean your whole body against it for a while so you warm up the metal then shine your thermal camera on it and voila....human figure....spooky... :)

this is definitely a ghost or poltergeist , it is Not human bcs if you stop at 0:31 or at 0:34 you see the shape but No heat registered any place except what seems to be his arm. looks like a patch or something like the firemen etc wear!?
If it were a human or animal the face, hands and chest would all register as red or white (heat).
even if that thing on his face is a surgery mask or wearing a hat the rest of face would reg. heat.
This is as real as I have seen. No debunking needed

I'm not saying that that's really a ghost, but you wouldn't be able to see a reflection of anything in a mirror or anything shiny when you were looking through a thermal imaging camera. The heat image is not reflected and given to the mirror...

If you look carefully you can see what appears to be gun in the figures left hand. Not only that but he is clearly wearing a hat which at the time this was shot no one who was done in that room was wearing on. I find it odd the two was glowing red, if you watch the All Access in season 4 Steve talks about how him, Jason and Grant spent most of the night trying to come up with a solution. After this thermal hit, the next day the two was not glowing red. I am skeptic, but this got me thinking.

you can see if you play from the beginning, the image looks down and seems to move back, and look down. as the frame pans down you can see not only the hat but also a belt, a bit of a belly and narrow hips. you can also se a hand at about chest level that seems to be positioned as if he was leaning against the locker. the glowing 2 could be a chemical thing maybe glue or something.

Yes There is NO possible way a locker can reflect heat from them standing that far away. Explain why the Number 2 Is Hotter then Body temp? Does not matter if they where at different angles or behind it there is NO way to reflect That heat form the DULL locker which could not reflect any type of Image.

I just don't know how the image would be picked up through the metal locker door. Flir doesn't see through objects and it can't pick up reflections. Why is the 2 hot but not the rest of the door. As Grant stands next to the door he doesn't project a heat signiture when Jay is filming him. This is the be flir proof of somethng not human ever recorded, IMO.

Different compounds reflect heat in different ways. If the "2" is white paint, it would reflect thermal radiation strongly. The surface of the locker would also reflect thermal radiation. It's hard to tell whether a hat is worn or not. I'm thinking the apparition is a thermal reflection from the locker as subsequent attempts only point at the doorway.

If you guys look good. you can see that the ghost body is a little above room temperature. grant on thermal is as high as the thermal gets. and the 2 stays the same color. course the battery is low. some of my gizzmos malfunction when the battery is low. I do not think that is a malfunction though.

I'm with u on this one!It is reflection look at the footage and you will notice that where what would appear to be the "Ghost's arm " is a hot spot which looks like a question mark...when you look at the compare footage later you see the question mark hotspot slightly off to the right of where it was originally so the hot spot is constant but the thermal imager is pointed more left than it was originally which is why they don't get the same reflection back as they did before.

Yep. The figure is obviously grant holding the thermal imaging device. They later shot their "debunking" video using a VERY different angle and distance to the locker while maintaining that they used the exact same angle. Also, far IR reflects MUCH easier than visible light so for them to claim they couldn't get a reflection when they tried is ridiculous. This is a good example of how little regard taps has for the intelligence of their fans.

The first reason i have for not believing this is because there isn't any evidence. Who says that ghosts have a heat signature? That's just something that some person made up to explain a weird shape on their camera. We honestly have no physical proof of ghosts because they are so easy to fake. The only way i'll believe in them is if i have a first hand experience. Even then there are SO many factors to take into account it's difficult to define an "encounter."

Faking thermal 'evidence' on a metal locker is very easy....just lean your whole body against it for a while so you warm up the metal then shine your thermal camera on it and voila....human figure....spooky... :)
