ok. everyone always compares the original and the remake. here's my opinion, since everyone seems to be giving theirs:

of course the original is better, its classic. even if an amazing singer did a cover, it wouldn't be the same.

however, i do give xtina and the others some credit for taking a great song and trying to bring it back. The riffs were a little much, but they have to, or it wouldn't sell. i thought the harmonies were tight and everything was great.

So that's my opinion.
