The Omega team had 50 people, none of them returned from the portal, except for Glacia and Infernia (it seems), but Ajax survived (he didn't make it through the portal).

The Alpha team had 1000 heroes and was lead by Statesman and 800 of them died, "the surviving 8" refers to the last 8 Generals, Statesman, Positron, Back Alley Brawler, Numina, Sister Psyche, Synapse, Manticore and Citadel.

I really love this game. The zombie invasion along with the halloween event rules. As a 51 month veteran who plays on Liberty, Justice, Champion and Virtue i am so looking forward to Issue 13 and shields. Thanks to Limewire i now have over 40 x-ray dog songs i burned to cd to listen while i play. My favorites are Timeline, Cyberworld, Battle Cry and Dethroned. The music goes great with gameplay. Nice work Ubie. You represented the game well.

For the record only 50 heroes were part of team Omega. Alpha had 1000, they were the decoy team, only 200 survived. Of the 50 who who tried to get into the portal 5 were captured only one hero survived, Ajax. I think he used in a story line later. Where did you get 8 from?

The Surviving Eight were the only 8 heroes from Paragon City that survived from all the heroes from Paragon City that participated as part of Alpha Team. That's how I remember someone explaining it to me once. The text is a bit misleading, but it was hard to cram that entire explanation in there :P

The command ingame to record them is /demorecord <filename>. To end them you use /demostop. In your CoH folder where the game is installed, there's a folder called "demos" and that's where all the stuff you record goes to. You can play them back and use a program like FRAPS to record them, or you can just record your gameplay live with FRAPS. Hope that helps.
