that's what stops me .. when I think of darknes. I think of all the horror movies Ive watched exorcisms and I feel that iwill notbe fully confident until I'm positive I'm protected and save.. I'm 18. I've been meditating for about a month and I feel like I don't have enough knowledge to fully open myself. I started meditateing because I was just amaized with criss angels. and ever since I've been drawn to meditateing and studying but I feel so unsafe

I focus on my grandma that passed and I ask a question then I get a reply in my mind that is not my own thoughts. After this has happened, I keep getting the feeling that other spirits want to give me messages to there loved ones. Example, I knew someone whos dad passed away when they were 12 and there dad said to me (still in the mind) to tell him that hes proud of him. What is this called?

I think letting go and trusting is tough. I believe it's why so many of us resist our psychic abilities...then we might actually hear the divine guidance clearly. I'm not saying we should blindly trust this by the way, I think it's healthy to ask who we're talking to and what their motives are. Not everyone sees stuff. sometimes they hear it or feel it. And yes, I too have to go quiet and hide out to regroup from all the swirling energy.

What you were saying about "not being in control" that makes so much sense right now. I had quite a few life lessons happening just like you explained, divine wants in , without your ego making the decisions. I wanted to control the situation, things kept happening until I said. Ok I am NOT in control.. I'll let Spirit take control from here. I do have angels that stay around me all of the time. I have not opened up to the other side visually however I do get almost a grey impression.

It's a relief to hear what you say. A roller coaster is so true at first. Especially when hearing so much noise! Some days I have to hide in a dark room and keep it very quiet so I can clear out everything I "pick-up" on.
