I've never seen this movie before its pretty good..

@gumie1995 The director,Adrienne Shelly( also the waitress Dawn)died. She was found hanging in her shower, a supposed suicide. Her friends & family didn't believe it since she had a child(the little girl at the movie's end),a happy marriage & a great career. The family paid for a new autopsy & evidence discovered led to the arrest of a man who punched her in an altercation and hung up her body up to fake a suicide. The killer didn't know that she was still alive when he hanged her.

@zapkvr it was her husband. why would she keep her pants on? people hide their true intentions sometimes, she just happened to miss that earl was an A-hole.
