There´s a "Riddle" in the changing of Ocelot´s type of bar.First, it appears:"Liquid",then "Liquid Ocelot" and ,after that, just"Ocelot".

What the game is telling is that,Ocelot , was only "pretending" to be Liquid, so he could fool the system of Ai´s (The Patriots).The Patriots never thought that an "immature kid" like Liquid could fool them.But an wise old man, that knows how the system really works, was behind their fall.Ocelot FTW.

What seems to suck the most about this is that the first ever Metal Gear games (The 8-bit weird Mother 3 type thing.) is barely ever mentioned. Metal Gear was created by those games. Big Boss first died in Outer Heaven. I bet half of you don't know anything about that last sentence.

No cause MGS1 on PS1 was the game that put Metal Gear &Kojima on 'the map' Twin Snakes as good as the graphics were in comparision just wouldn't have the same effect. U see if u are like and me and when u see the now shitty graphics of MGS1: u are reminded of how far this game series has some from the 1st MGS. From this u feel a certain pride & tear from playing snake's dream in MGS4 Can u imagine if that was TTS ? It just wouldnt be th same. But the real reason is that MGS4 was an PS3 exculsive

See? this is what the gaming industry really needs to focus on its games, you need an epic battle in every game so the consumer can feel satisfied with the experience, where in contrast, other games such as Halo 3 (a apparently very 'epic' trilogy) are ending with a simplistic and unsatisfying ending where the objective is just simply to pump lead into your opponent and then,bam,..Games Over. :I Kojima, just outdid himself, and i agree with everybody else, one of the BEST boss fights in history.

If I didn't know any better I'd say it's on Solid Normal. Have you tried this fight in Big Boss hard or The Boss Extreme? It adds a total different level of epicness and excitement

hmmm, yes quite. I noticed on solid normal, your health sorta regenerates a bit through each fighting phase. look from MGS2 to MGS3. that lethal punch from MGS2 Ocelot is...well... lethal x-x

I've beaten Ocelot in the boss extreme, and I always save my one and only chance to regenerate health at the MGS3 part, Snake Eater playing in the background+beautiful CQC= amazing great fight. The hardness just adds to the suspense c: !

to get big boss emblem u need to save ALOT have patience be quick if got by an area but u feel it wasnt quick enough go bac again nd again til u get it and move on. Some tips i found out wen i did it -

use mark 2 cause invisible, check u havint died- killed- alert ect by going into mission brief in main menu, in europe on bike put auto aim, and most important get solar gun b4 u do it so much easier. If u need anything else message me or jus to talk. let me kno how u get on.

when they fight it goes through the first 3 MGS and their name and health bar changes to fit the game and then at the end it shows no name or health bar. Because this is the end. Names don't mean much in this fight. Ocelot and Snake finally have their rematch from MGS1. I love the music in this fight a lot

Notice how throughout the battle, Ocelot's name changes from Liquid, to Liquid Ocelot, and finally into just Ocelot. In the final phase, both he and Snake's 'names' vanish. They're not a snake or an ocelot, they're men with names. In a way, you can see this as Ocelot's, or rather Adam's, reward for fulfilling his long-drawn out mission. He no longer needs to pretend to be Liquid, he can finally be himself before he dies.

this is the best fight of the game to me, when i saw the flash that shows the young and cool ocelot, i realised that mgs3 was far more balanced as a game, mgs4 is almost too emotional, perhaps to mark the end of solid snake, but as a game, i think that it does not match mgs3, you can't even compare the BnBs to the cobra unit and colonel volgin, the fights were better especially the end and volgin, and finally the boss.

Prob the next parts of the Metal Gear (mayor games like this one, MSG1, MSG2, MSG3) story will be about Raiden or Meryl... the "younger generation" in this game. Minor (fillers) games (like the ones on PSP, I love Portable Ops) will add some more good stuffs. Hope to see more Big Boss stuff. By far one of the best game series ever. Brings back good memories.

People say that this is the last game of the serie, but its not that simple. This will be the last Metal Gear SOLID game, but not the Metal Gear serie. They will prob do more Metal Gear Solid ones, like earlier stories like Snake Eater or Portable Ops, maybe Solid Snakes earlier life, but Solid Snakes story will end with this one.
