  • I choked on my cereal ...

  • my guinea pig does the same thing :p

  • If bunnies shouldn't have showers explain why in the wild they stay out in the rain all the time? I thought this was cute <3

  • aaahh i jumped when the bunny jumped

  • You shouldn't get his ears wet. He could get an infection.

  • WHAT IS THIS SORCERY!!!???

  • WHEN CUTESTERS ATTACK

  • your bunny is adorable

  • bunnies can go into shock and die from giving them a bath. look up some facts if you plan on keeping it alive.

  • Why would you do that to a rabbit? Bunch of a-holes!

  • @AlmaRetOrciDa It's called a bath? To keep the rabbit clean....

  • @lonelyWillowTree Rabbits don't need baths, it's even really bad for them, scary, etc ... They clean themselves very well (just like cats), except if they're sick - and even in these cases, you don't put them in the water but take a humid washcloth. Bunnies are really clean animals.

Poor bunny, so scared, and the girl's laughing ... -_-'

  • @lonelyWillowTree The only reason a rabbit needs help with staying clean is because his hind is dirty, his hind gets dirty because of bad food or too much food or stress. If the hind is dirty, there is no need to sprinkle water on the head -.-* They're not humans. If they smell, clean the cage. Bunnies are supposed to smell like hay. At least mine does.

  • @ponyangel1987 @leshuitscaroles I understand that in general, rabbits are no happy with baths, but some do like water (though I know most don't) My friend has a rabbit who enjoys baths, perhaps this rabbit is similar?

  • @lonelyWillowTree Mine comes join me in the shower often (out of free will, he has to cross half the livingroom, the hallway and quite a space of bathroom, around a curtain) and sits side me for a while, then goes washing himself on the other side of the curtain. This bunny tries to get out of the bath, he's measuring (the head, the posture and movements) and jumps. The point is, if they like it, let them search for it themselves, bathing because YOU want it, is unnecessary.

  • @ponyangel1987 You say you can tell by the posture etc, but clearly there were people there, why can't the rabbit have just been looking at the people? Even wild rabbits stand on there back legs sometimes. Besides, most animals try and get out of things when you put them there, even my stick insects try and escape when I take the top of their habitat.

  • @lonelyWillowTree Because some people think everything their rabbit does is funny and other people are just plain ignorant. The laughing when the rabbit launches himself to the side of the bathtub says enough right? Your first reaction should be "omg, you ok?" But they laugh... I have had rabbits all my life, I KNOW when they are uncomfortable and this one is. I also know how dangerous it can be when they try to escape, as they can break all kinds of things in a blink. No laughing matter.

  • @lonelyWillowTree @ponyangel1987 @leshuitscaroles Look. This rabbit needs to have baths as he gets really dirty. He really doesn't mind it any more now, but would you want your rabbit to go around stinking of his own faeces? No. You don't want fly larvae to get into the faeces on their bums. That is just disgusting. You keep them clean when they get dirty and are unable to clean them. Simple as.

  • @Joannaz372 My bun has that as well, as I got him as an orphan, much too early and he didn't have enough antibodies from his mom, so his intestines throw a fuzz once a while, but I dip his hind and make sure the rest doesn't get wet. He's quite comfortable that way. That doesn't involve sprinkling with water and go "aww, look how cute" when he's clearly distressed. That's not cute. That's stupid and all I'm going to say about it.

  • okayy.okayyyyy.i was not scared at all ! -yes i was-

  • lol My first bunny, Misa, we got as a baby and she liked baths but my Luna I got when she was older and she hates them so if I have to give her a bath (for example she got an infection in her boobies after her babies stopped nursing so she was on antibiotics and they upset her tummy so her booty would get dirty) I just put a little bit of warm water in the kitchen sink with the rabbit shampoo already in the water and then rinse her with water set aside and i keep her paws up on the side.

  • They first be all calm to make you think they arnt going to escape then... BAM! They fooled you.

  • idiots.. dont shower the bunnies..

  • Me asusté cuando el conejito saltó!!!

  • maybe thats why wild rabbits go extinct every time it raine :o

  • i have to giant continental rabbits.. who both weigh about 2 stone each and are about 3 ft long ... if i was to put samson ( my big boy bunny) in the bath . i think it would end up being a massive blood bath -_-

  • Omg i got such a fright at the end :L

  • Warum ist das kaninchen wohl raus gesprungen, weil es kein bock auf sowas hatte!!! -.- tierauäler!!

  • i think the bunny feels insulted when u call him cute... i dont think u should say tht around him... just for safety measures.

  • I´m not sure that he likes that..

  • yes... bathe me man slave.

    ^-^

  • <3 so cuteee

  • thumbs up if u jumped when he said cute

  • My rabbit does that!!!

  • Poor Bunny.

  • its not safe to give a bunny a bath... they could get sick TnT

  • Oooh... ♥ It reminds me to my little girl (rabbit) she used to have that "how the hell can I get out of here?!?!?!" just like her, and also the "attack" what is just the translation for "please, save meeee T____________T" and "there I go, whatever happens would be better than water" xDDDD

  • You shouldn't bath rabbits unless it is a really dire situation. It is really scary to them. He wasn't attacking he was desperately trying to get out of the tub. If you have to bath your bunny put a towel down underneath him or her so they have better footing. The tub is really slippery to bunny feet.

  • @mkelmoz Okay, so if it was scared, why was it so calm through the whole vid? I disagree with you, srry. I had a bunny and we bathed him everyday and he loved it.

  • @mkelmoz That is semi true. My black silver fox loves being bathed and will sit there like a boss. Though he is quite easy to handle and friendly (he will tell you to groom him and if ignored nip). Had him from being a baby.

My Doe (both live together) however does not like baths. Neither does she particularly like being handled. (rescued, think handled incorrectly)

I think the main thing is rabbits instictively need to have an escape route and baths aren't very good for that.

  • @mkelmoz yeah, when i saw the headline i thought "why didn't i know you can bath a rabbit?" but when i started the video... the rabbit is all scared, according to it's standing up pose... good to know! thx for your information :)

  • @mkelmoz Yes, they do not need to be bathed very often, if ever, but if they need it then go for it but avoid getting water in their noses or ears. Even cats and some dogs will try to get out of the tub (I still have scars from the last time I tried to give my cat a bath) and they are not as sensitive to water or as fragile.

  • @mkelmoz Normally id agree totally, they really hate it, hence the standing on the back legs, it doesn't like it. Most people would agree that bathing a bunny is a bit mean... however i did have an extremely odd lionhead once, it was a strange rabbit anyway... But it eventually loved a swim, it jumped in my pool once, so i went over surprised it could float, and lifted it out... but once it had worked it out she would every so often get in again...

  • I jumped too XD

  • awww ;) then, ahhhh!

  • im like aww until he jumped its like watching a version of WEN BUNNIES ATTACK

  • I want a bunny, so bad. I HAVE A HAMSTER. And he's being such an asshole to me. :c

  • @AmyXRuby my rabbit was an asshole to me >: ( i gave her away though but she is in a better home now

  • @fresiansrus Oh i see. We're so unlucky with animals i guess.

  • tumblr gif :D

  • distributing water is not immersion. "don't generalize"? lol they're not being stereotyped, sweetie. we generalize animals to know how they should be treated. your comment might as well read, "don't generalize all respiratory systems. some may like strychnine. if you consumed some, do you think yours would just give up and shut down?" if they refused to cross, it wouldn't be the strangest behavior a species ever had. you're talking fight or flight, not subjection to stress by an owner.

  • The top comments were making me so nervous

  • Lol, i was laughing and giggling at the cute bunny then i blinked and it was jumping and i was like WOAH! and lunged backwards xD

  • LOL I WANT BUNNY

  • My bunnies do that to me when i bath them x i have 4 x i end up soaking wet x so funny though. xx that is one cute bunny!

  • i think i may have just had a heart attack

  • bunnies clean themselves and each other (thats why you hold more than one bunny, they are very social beeings)... swimming and bathing is unnatural behavior

  • @touchdown081 Some bunnies actually like to swim. =0

  • @bunnybitchtits no they don´t... bunnies are flight animals, they dislike and are afraid of situations potentially inhibiting a flight

  • @touchdown081 Don't generalize all rabbits. How the Hell do rabbits get across streams and creeks in the wild? They're sure to come across one. What if they're running away from something and they come across one? Do they just flop over and give up?

  • @bunnybitchtits they don´t cross... if forced they maybe will.

  • @touchdown081 My rabbit will often dip her paws and feet in the cat's water bowl, bathing herself in it without any assistance from me... I think some bunnies may like water. :s

  • I admit...I jumped.

  • I HOPE HE BITE YOU!!!! You do not need to put rabbits in the water, they are the most cleanest animals in the world! They lick thereselfs half a day, they don't need people to get them clean, THEY ARE NOT DOGS!

  • @uzi817 They sure do smell after a while, though.

  • @bunnybitchtits NO THEY NOT! I had a rabbit for TEN years, and he never smelt! only in the latests months when he was old and weak, so he couldn't clean himself between legs (you know what I mean). Then I washed him only that "area", without soaking him too much.

  • @uzi817 Well, lucky you. Have you ever considered that some rabbits /enjoy/ baths? Not every rabbit is completely the same. My rabbit smells like something Godawful right now and she needs a bath badly, so we're going to give her one. If the rabbit doesn't mind, why is it such a big deal? Rabbits clean themselves, that's true, but if they get smelly, you might as well clean them. And what about when their bums get dirty? They don't clean that...

  • @uzi817 P.S., dogs clean themselves too. ._.

  • @bunnybitchtits Ofcourse that dogs clean themselves, but when you go with the dog outside in the walk and for example it rains the dog won't clean himself!!! and with a rabbit you don't go outside, only if you have a special area for him in the garden, then you may wash their feets only. I have another rabbit now and he smells so beautifully, that I put my nose between his ears and just smelling him! he smells like a bunch of flowers. AND DOES THIS RABBIT LOOKS LIKE HE DOESN'T MIND???

  • @uzi817 I've seen plenty of videos of rabbits that don't mind. Also, many people take their rabbits for walks which can cause them to get dirty. My bunny needed a bath after she got stuck under our bed and was dirty and smelly all over. And our dogs clean themselves after they're out in the rain.

  • @uzi817 Apparently you are a bad owner if you cannot figure out if you're bunny needs a bath or not. Ever wonder why there are shampoos specifically for rabbits? Or do you think they are there just to be there?

  • awwwwwwwwwwwww!

  • I almost shit myself. :L

  • person- so confused

bunny - do u really call this confused?

    person - *laughs*

bunny - this isint confused, its called rage!

    *jumps*

lol, luv this so much, such a cute bunny!

And, touchdown081, you bathe your rabbit if their bums are dirty.

  • i am a guy and i approve cute videos

  • you dont bath rabbits at all... (and your bunny is not confused, its afraid, cant you see?)

  • @touchdown081 actually you do bathe rabbits? its called keeping them clean.

  • @touchdown081 this is not true if a rabbit is trusting of people u can give it a bath so ling at the water is only a few inches it might get kinda scared but it wont hurt it. If you don't what ur rabbits after it gets dirt the risk on bugs and other harmful things are much worse

  • Awwhhh now that's how you bath a rabbit loads of people on YouTube do it wrong.

  • You're not supposed to bathe rabbits.

  • Awwww lol I have to do that to my bunny Cutie because she hasn't had one in a while lol she gonna smell good in a few

  • Bunny: "Who you calling cute, punk?" *attack*

    Awww. Bless.

  • That bunny Is sooooo cute!

  • a bath is Ok..but dont get Water in the Face and ears!!!!!!

  • can people stop being horrible? Giving a rabbit a bath is alright but you neeed to make sure you dont get the water in the face and ESPECIALLY the ears!!!!!!

  • Bunnies do not have to bathe. They can catch a cold and are not that pleasant. Poor little, terrified.

  • Aaaww how adorable! (: Just the same colour as mine

  • YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSE TO WASH BUNNIES OR RABBITS!! POOR THING... PLS. DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE CARING FOR A SMALL PET.

  • @ArtsySab uhm Sorry but i have 10 Rabbits and it's okay when it's warm water and i've you dry the rabbit after wash him.

  • @ArtsySab what ifthey r reallllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllly bad

  • @epicwwow

your reply does not seemed to be displayed:here it is:Actully alot of bunnys like taking bath's and your suposed to give your bunny a bath every 2 weeks or so, or whenever they get really stinky. they cant completly clean themselves by licking and most bunnys on there first bath try to jump out so how bout oyu do some reserch on bathing rabbits before you post false information on Youtube...

  • Comment removed

  • I also jumped haha o.o

    very cute :3

  • cute is that a dwarf bunny cuz i have a dwarf bunny

  • Click the snowflake button, and enjoy. Merry Christmas(:

  • it scared me when it jumped up out of nowhere

  • shut up all you dislikers and enjoy the bunnies x

  • Rabbit:Ehm, It's a little difficult to bath here when you are watching

  • So cute

  • "I was washed once... ONCE"

  • What kind of rabbit is this?

  • My rabbit is 12 years old. I find no harm in washing him. He often has a hard time staying clean on his bottom because of his age. If the water is shallow and is neither too hot or too cold, the rabbit will be fine. He actually stretches out on top of the towel I put under him in the tub and he loves it!

  • The video cuts off because the bunny ate them. He then uploaded the footage as a warning to all bunny owners.

  • thank goodness i read the comment below like 2 seconds before the bunny jumped..

  • lmao omgeeee when he jumped i jumped.. too cute!

  • what's up with all these assholes putting bunnies in water?

  • finally someone who knows how to bathe a bunny the right way

I gave this vid a thumbs up

  • for people saying this is cruel, you clearly know nothing. this is the right way to give a rabbit a bath, he/she is in the right amount of water and yes of course its going to get frightened, they dont know what the fuck is going on! but the owners arent doing anything they shouldnt, so shut the fuck up.

by the way, your rabbit is absolutely adorable!

  • i tried to give my bunny a shower after she dove in mud (what a silly head) and she splashed all the muddy water on me jumped your the tub jumped on my bed and ran in front of my mom and she tripped but then i catched her and put her in her little bunny house c:

  • That's actually quite cruel. Your bunny is clearly frightened.

  • read the top comment but jumped anyway -_-*

  • I agree, they'll have matts and all that. But when i give my rabbits baths, they will try to struggle and often scratch my incident. are there any tricks to a smoother bathing proccess?

  • This is adorable ^_^

  • 'rabbits don't like water' ye we know, but it's better then the rabbits getting flipping fleas or tics and that irritating them, a 5 min bath could help, better that 8 years of flea bitting.

  • Real men watch bunny videos.

  • @totter2 Oh damn... You caught me xD

  • @totter2 real men watch football

  • When our bunnies got really old, they didn't take as good care of their "behinds" as they used to. So then we would have to help them a bit by giving them baths. And what I have learned from that is the do it quick and have a steady hold of them while doing it, cause bunnies does not like to get bathed! lol

  • Povero coniglietto,i conigli non si lavanoo!marò

  • It's fun for the humans, but stressful and upsetting for the rabbit :( Please don't bathe your rabbit unless medically necessary.

  • Ok....must plan thiss right......FALCOOON PUUUUUUUUNCCCCCHHHHH!!!

  • right? left? right? ...... Escape!!!!

  • cutee... AHHH !!!

  • @darkatod3 ikr lol

  • That rabbit so want to get out of there!!

  • omfg lol. I was thinking *man that rabbit looks like he's about to jump on that guys face* then it happened! lol win!

  • OMG I LUV BUNNIES

THEIR SO FLUFFY IM GONNA DIE

  • my bunny dose the same thinqq haha its adorable ^-^

  • Awww! ... I'm gonna steel that wabbit... o_O

  • Bunnies clean themselves, they are not supposed to be washed, then can get very sick...

  • @Heartbourne my bunny couldnt handle its new food so it smelled like dogpoop. when i started washing her she became very calm and even was cleaning me by licking my hands. When it's medical a bath is ok. and sometimes once in a year because they walk outside in my garden but not like always.

  • @Heartbourne Yeah? What if you have a long-haired bunbun that has his fur full of shit and dirt and he's really bothered by it because he can't clean it himself? The VET advised to put him in a tiny bath with 1 or 2 cm of water to help get most of the dirt out. And yes, the bunbun WILL finish the job himself.

  • You're actually not supposed to wash rabbits. Unless they're really, really dirty, or too sick to wash themselves.

  • @vildetokita94 You can wash rabbits. I have over 50...You shouldnt wash them often, just once a month.

  • @vildetokita94 you are definately correct because they have oil on their body that keeps them clean and it helps keep their fur nice and thick. I have a white male dawrf rabbit that is 8 years old and he's still healthy.

  • @vildetokita94 but its not necessarily harmful as long as the water is clean and you dont use soap not mad SPECIALLY for rabbits.

  • @vildetokita94 They are supossed to take baths 2-4 times a year but you cant wash them either with too hot water or too cold water.

  • @vildetokita94 how do u no that it was really clean retart stop being a hater and STFU

  • @267brian Wow, a hater? Did I do anything to offend the uploader? Don't think so.

  • @vildetokita94 therefore it should be okay to wash them all the time? if there's not a problem washing them when they're ill then why should it be a problem to wash them generally?!!!

  • @daniyep It's simple. When they have mud etc. stuck to their fur, they have no chance to get it off. So then you have no choice but to do it. You should wash them AS RARELY AS POSSIBLE. That's why :)

  • @vildetokita94 It's good to wash them multiple times a year. Most rabbits enjoy it, anyway.

  • @vildetokita94 It is perfectly fine to wash them, as long as it isn't too often Four times a year or so, maybe. The main reason people don't wash them is because of the ears; as long as water doesn't get in the ears and they don't get too wet, its all good.

  • @vildetokita94 youre right, i washed my bunny when he was really... dirty... and he stinks so much! but he was a lot older he wasnt able to wash himself and i only washed his butt and feet :D

  • its so cute~ when he put some water on its head, its all like, MIRACLES

  • my rabbit always tries to jump out of the bathtub too, and she's successful every time, then it's chasing around time =.=

  • I ♥ the part when he jumped out of the bath *Bad English* xd

  • i thought u weren't supposed to wet the ears,oh well
