Why does everyone think Giovanni died in the manga ? At the moment we are at the HeartGold/Soulsilver chapter and Silver is looking for his father, but we don't know what happened to him. He may die at the end of the chapter, but right now his status is still unknown.

Why do people assume he killed himself? It's obvious he made a splash from going down the waterfall...like what you'd expect from someone going down a waterfall. How the heck did he go up that waterfall and into the cave in the first place? Teleported there?

Anyway Gamefreak would be horrible to imply suicide in a game targeted at kids especially if they just show it casually like that.

It means you have to obtain the celebi from an event. For example, gamestop was giving them out via Mystery Gift for a certain amount of time in 2011. This also means it can't be hacked or whatever, I think....
