You know one of my friends that lives in Brooklyn talked to Peter after he got out of rehab a few years back and my friend said October Rust was the worst album and guess what Peter agreed and said it was gay compared to the rest lol but I love that album along with the all other albums and Carnivore! Invest in rehab NOW via legalisation and moderate taxation is what I say. It's the lesser of all the evils.

You know one of my friends that lives in Brooklyn talked to Peter after he got out of rehab a few years back and my friend said October Rust was the worst album and guess what Peter agreed and said it was gay compared to the rest lol but I love that album along with the all other albums and Carnivore! @RidirichdFlann I think Peter was taking the piss with your friend there. It is a fact that Peter has always said since back then and years after that October Rust is his favorite album. (fun fact, he wrote parts of that album when he was just a kid!)
It is certainly my favorite, and one of my all time favorite albums. Great songwriting, well produced, great lyrics, and melodically deep. I'm still hearing sounds on that record I hadn't heard before after 14 years.

@Saighton Anyone with half a brain knows that getting someone caught up in the legal system/jail, and psych shit is the worse thing to do to a person and it does not solve any problems it creates more. Pete is correct saying when ppl go to jail they learn how to commit crime and find more dealers than they used to ever have. Do you have any idea how degrading it is to be in a jail or psych unit. It is dehumanizing, American jail and psych systems help nobody get better, there are better ways!

I know very well, although someone chooses to take drugs themselves (I'm about to go smoke a joint for example, hopefully no-one will be harmed!). The consequences are not only theirs, so it's no more fair on the family to have to make such a decision than it is to put someone in jail/psych ward lockdown.
Invest in rehab NOW via legalisation and moderate taxation is what I say. It's the lesser of all the evils.

However, their attempts at getting him help may have not all been bad ones, he's right about Prison life being non-constructive to making people better, it's rounding them all up and sticking them out of sight

He kinda reminds me of the guy who played "Jaws" in a couple James Bond movies. He has some facial similarities to that guy.
Although I never followed his career, I watched several of his interviews upon learning of his death and it is quite apparent he is, or was, a very intense individual who was very deep. Too bad he passed away because I really would have loved to have seen more from him.
