u can go without washing it for month if u DNT put products in it...cus then it will cus build up n get dirty...but i wish my hair can do that not wash it and it grows!! lol it amazes me how people hair are different in many ways....its crazy lol and u right it works for u! but too bad mayb it wont work for another...but yr hair looks thick long and strong that how i want my hair excepted permed :) gud luck!!
If you are not going to wash with shampoo I would suggest co-washing or clarifying your hair with an apple cider vinegar rinse. The co-washing will keep moisture in your hair which you need for hair growth. The apple cider vinegar rinse will clarify your hair scalp which is needed for healthy hair growth. How are you doing with your challenge? Wish you the best!
i just found your channel..and I also checked out your blog..love your channel..your hair in this vid looks like my hair the last time I colored and relaxed it over 3 and a half years ago so its soo possible to grow it really long....
Congratulations on your decision, I think you will be happy with natural hair. There is a lot of info amongst the natural hair community on YT. It was my saving grace, lol. As you go forward try to focus on keeping your hair healthy more than growth...the growth and length retention will come as a result of healthy hair. :-)
@MaiyaCasiano1 I dont know if I stated it in the vid but I used to have extremely short hair that never grew past ear length. And when I started wearing weaves and going months at a time without washing it, my hair grew to shoulder length within 1 year. So that is what works for Me, and of course I will do what works........
How you going to say your roots are terrible! Never say that. I like this hair challenge. If I can't find a proficient person to relax my hair or hair relaxer in general, I will join you on this challenge. I'll send you updates of my hair journey.
@NatalieMebane lol yeah when I watched it and saw that I said my roots were terrible I kinda cringed because that is not what i meant. I meant the roots plus the straight ends looked teribble because right now my hair is just way too many textures and looks weird. But yes join the journey, u look great with natural hair.....refering to the pic with you and the orange shirt, watermelon, and knife
Hey there, i was watching ur weight gain progress....the 2 videos on here...the first thing that came to mind is "I wonder if she would go natural... her features are so gorgeous that would enhance her beauty" And now i find this video lol
I think once you grow your real hair out, you may keep it all natural, you can flat iron natural hair too, and at least you have plenty of hair than a LOT of people on here who tried going natural out. Good luck! I hope you reach this goal as well :)
@MyYuniko Keeping it natural does pass my mind pretty often these days. And my moms natural and she loves the more natural look......she's pretty convincing. The only problem is I dont want to do the big cut, if I grow it out I want to keep it long, and as far as I know I would have to cut off all the relaxed hair. I would prefer not to have to do all that. So I would have to do more research and see.....
