  • GOODBYE A MILLION DOLLARS IF THIS WERE REAL

  • why do ALL of the good aircraft in fsx have to be purchased? that freaking sucks.

i don't have enough money to buy anything good in fsx

  • @codboroks97 I have a lot of great freeware airplanes on my channel if you want to have a look. The aircraft are payware quality but are given out for free. I have a lot more videos in progress as well. Subscribe to stay updated on all of my new stuff.

This should make you a lot happier.

  • @RippedWookie payware quality aircraft? for free? is there a website?

  • @codboroks97 They are located all over and fairly difficult to find. I have included the download links for the aircraft in the video description on my videos. Look for FSX FREEWARE REVIEW videos on my channel.

Have you been to simviation com and avsim com ? Those are two great websites.

  • @RippedWookie yes I have looked at simviation but its hard to find good planes. but the last time i chacked the site out was a year ago. maybe its changed a bit

  • @codboroks97 If you want good planes, look at my videos. Otherwise you can search those websites.

  • Hey, I just bought this aircraft online and i try to fly it. But it doesn't allow me to use Crtl+E to start engines. Is there a way, to make it back to automatic start. And I follow the steps of starting the engine and i hold the starter switch and it doesn't turn on even after i hold it on for a minute XD CAN ANYONE HELP ME, THANKS !!!!!!

  • I have to say this is the worst 206 engine sound ive heard...really strange sounding :-S Take a look at any real 206 interior engine startup vids on youtube and you'll see what i mean. If i can just find how to switch the sounds.......

  • why r u useing buttons push ctrl+E then f4

  • You just melted your engine....Next time dont DUMP the fuel. You only need to move the throttle past the first click. Your TOT went through the ROOF.

  • @audigod haha, yep. I think I've got it now.

  • @EXAir113 Just make sure as soon as N1 is at 12% or higher minimum, that you just click the throttle past the minimum to add fuel. Always keep your eye on the TOT gauge if it goes higher than the redline for more than 2 seconds cut fuel. Good luck!

  • its hard to fly plane with keyboard im gonna get a joystick next week can any1 recommend any good joysticks with reasonable price

  • How do you click the throttle? I hold down the start button and press F4 but nothing happens.

  • @iscay666 The throttle is controlled by what would normally be your prop control. Your normal control for throttle (the F4 button) would control your collective.

  • LoL WTF was this startup?

You should consider ToT (Turbine out temperature) if you did a startup like this in real life your turbine would blow out!

  • Yeah, this was my third start, you can set it to a more realistic mode, but yes, my engine always blew out. I've gotten better at it now, you have to remember though, I'm no helicopter pilot. :P

  • i understand hehe

but try to find bell 206 manual (pretty easy to find in internet) at textron website you´ll find it.

There is a lot of information and procedures to engine startup.

you should open throttle only when N1 (gas producer) is at 15%.

anyway good video and dodosim is pretty good, you can take a look in bell 206 i´m doing for x-plane if you want, visit my videos.

  • @djconex Thank you! I did open up the throttle at 15% in this video. :P

I took a look at your xplane B206, it looks great. I was thinking of switching over to Xplane a while back but the lack of good payware aircraft was too much for me to take. After seeing that there a lot of people starting to work on some good products for XPlane (such as your B206, which looks great), I will probably switch over soon.

  • Wow, sounds are amazing!

  • They are. I would like to learn how to fly helicopters (in real life) someday. I'm not sure if there are a lot of career opportunities in my area though (Manitoba, Canada).

  • I thought the same until I checked out how much it costs! Close to $400 per hour at my airport. Needless to say, I can get tons of fixed wing time for that price.

  • Yes, that was the other reason. They are expensive. What kind of helicopter were you looking at that cost that much. I'm sure a Robinson wouldn't be that bad. A Bell 206 (which is all my local trains with) will probably be brutal. I'm just too scared to check!

I would be a great experience though.

  • I never got out to the helicopter :-) to know what make or model it was

A visiting CFI I was talking to was rotor rated when I was asking.about lessons.

You are right, it would be a unique flavor of aviation to taste!
